A little birdy told me that we will also be getting 6.8mm chambered rifles. Because it is against our dharm to discriminate against any calibre .

I remember 2 rumoured units/teams being mentioned in conversations in late 99/2000s ear marked SGII which was supposedly trained in Israel with a NEST mandate. Don't know if true or what happened to it. Frontline magazine mentioned it briefly (one sentence) in an article.

There was also a unit ear marked Alpha by the AF - this eventually became Garud from what I know.

Beyond this i have not heard of anything. Though CISUs do tend to raise and disband teams from time to time.

Early 90s i was very young to catch on to mil stuff. Though ikwaans would mean Kashmir facing - alot of dark shit went down in the 90s outside of the Overt RR set up that people (in my family atleast) don't readily talk about or have since passed on
