More impressive in some ways given that CAPFs tend to be paid less and have marginally poorer training and arguably work in more precarious situation with less established infrastructure/support
Even they belong to the same tribe having same language and same religion still didnt change sides and choose Bharat above all.I was present at a funeral of a crpf soilder who was from tribal community and too see other tribal folks determined to save India from naxals moved me as a kid .

CAPFs don’t get their due, their LWE fight largely gets ignored and they are up against far greater odds than their counterparts in the military

I've heard the QAT commandos of CRPF are trained well, since their AOR is entirely Kashmir. They get all the new toys which CRPF acquires

Facts. The Indian Para military apparatus has faced some of the fiercest challenges in modern combat history. In a war, if they are our rear support, I'll be be bloody confident. Arm these guys to the absolute teeth and see what they do.

Sorry to digress from the topic of Special Forces.

The odds against which CAPF and army fights are incomparable too.. Especially the strength, morale and training of enemy also the terrain. Nowdays CAPF too are trained very well but the support elements they get are minimal.

Forget CAPFs, it can be argued that their track record is not that on bright side. But elite unit like Grey hounds which have track record on parallel with 9 Para SF never gets deserving accolafes just because they are a police force. (i am not exaggerating when i compare them with Para,as their kill ratio is too high so is the number of ops they had done in the last 33 years, their men are super motivated, adaptive, well trained, have good intel capabilities and have very well state of the art of training centre for any CAPF or Police force )

There are no Armasen rigs in this picture, those are the unit tailor made plate carriers like this.

Also that’s not an ITL N/SEAS, that’s the Mepro Mini Hunter.

ITL N/SEAS is used with the ITL MARS sight and Mepro Mini Hunter is used with the Mepro MOR.

If you are considering those light coloured helmets as viper p2s, you are wrong, those are marpat print helmet covers on their MTHCBHs.
