India doesn’t have the kind of specialised JTAC courses as NATO has had for decades. Garuds (maybe PARA SF too?) can be employed to laze targets but as far as controlling airspace, there’s no combat in india that can fill the role

Ukrainian SF are seen using a wide array of small arms now .they seems to like Bullpups like malyuk and fort tavors but the most commonly they are now seen with modernised ak74, Sig mcx,even bren2 and they have now standardised a indigenous new ar15 based rifle for spec ops troops only .we have shit ton of variety in every thing except firearms for SF either old tavors or 2000 era m4 blocks1 and fab mod aks

Thats not I meant you need a standard weapon and other weapons in small for getting familarity .its like NSG having small amounts of scars ,m4 etc

There is no such expertise with the Indian Air Force.

Let alone the Garuds or Para.

I doubt any Military in Asia would have that.

Combat controllers are high level controllers who have FAA approval.I doubt how many Indian Airforce Controllers would have similar qualification in India.
