India doesn’t have the kind of specialised JTAC courses as NATO has had for decades. Garuds (maybe PARA SF too?) can be employed to laze targets but as far as controlling airspace, there’s no combat in india that can fill the role@Gessler @abingdonboy @rkhanna @ManhattanProject @COLDHEARTED AVIATOR @Waanar , other senior members and others, do y’all have more pictures or information regarding the Combat Controlller/JTAC role in the Indian SFs?

All of the Ukraine SOFs are active hence the reason you see the variety, also rather than going for variety its better to choose one or two in each categoryUkrainian SF are seen using a wide array of small arms now .they seems to like Bullpups like malyuk and fort tavors but the most commonly they are now seen with modernised ak74, Sig mcx, even bren2 and they have now standardised a indigenous new ar15 based rifle for spec ops troops only .we have shit ton of variety in every thing except firearms for SF either old tavors or 2000 era m4 blocks1 and fab mod aks
Is that a DBAL? Looks like a DBAL, if true looks like paras bought some new LAMs.
I think this is the second or third time we saw that looks like a unit level purchase like earlierIs that a DBAL? Looks like a DBAL, if true looks like paras bought some new LAMs.
Thats not I meant you need a standard weapon and other weapons in small for getting familarity .its like NSG having small amounts of scars ,m4 etcAll of the Ukraine SOFs are active hence the reason you see the variety, also rather than going for variety its better to choose one or two in each category
adgpi be likeSome piecemeal purchases of PPE here and there but nothing comprehensive or centralised. There should be an Indian SF modernisation program covering 5-10 years not the current iterative process.
YeahNote the Steiner DBAL-I2
There is no such expertise with the Indian Air Force.@Gessler @abingdonboy @rkhanna @ManhattanProject @COLDHEARTED AVIATOR @Waanar , other senior members and others, do y’all have more pictures or information regarding the Combat Controlller/JTAC role in the Indian SFs?
