Like I have said a 100 times before. Indian army SF are a commando unit on par with the US Army Rangers in capability. The only difference is that in the US Army hierarchy the Rangers are an extremely well respected and funded Unit

Their operation is different from ours they use isr surveillance and many more thing to identified the terriost hideout we don't do these things in Kashmir and I oppose the decision to bring special forces in coin operation

What equivalent we have in India equal to Marine?

Thing is, Royal Marines are currently undergoing changes to basically convert them to special op roles.
The rumors have been up in the air for quite a while. (Sauce)
Also, MARCOS trained with 42 RM quite recently, yet well before the conversion to SOF. This change only brings their supposed roles closer.

The british are setting up 2nd tier forces UK rangers have already been up and I think royal marines will also be a 2nd tierforce like them

Top command doesn't know what to do with them , most of the times they are given ops like they are infantry ghataks pro ultra plus who are para trained

Ghataks , brother , not regulars . HCBH are all limited to SF , Airborne and Ghataks . The only time we saw a whole team with HCBH are Operation Randoori Behak and the 2019 Nagrota Encounters. Other than that only limited sneak peeks of SF with one or two

Total scumbag, taking taxpayer money to train units in things he has no training of himself.


But at the same time the leadership that is hiring this clown and watching the pathetic 'training' he imparts are even more despicable.



Anyway afaik he's been blacklisted by the MoD and MHA for a while now but some state police forces are still availing of his services with predictable results.
