Some hopium guys
I say bring it on.
for all the critiques one thing that can be said about the Indian armed forces is they are relatively good at plugging holes AFTER the fact.
if terrorists start hitting them at night with some of this Gucci stuff RR may be running US Tier 1 Level NVGs (and associated equipment) 2-3 years after.
whilst I wouldn’t wish for it (it will be another distraction india absolutely doesn’t need) one of the upsides to Pakis pushing these kind of clowns into India would be a further enhancing of the prominence of security in the Indian mindset. They’d have to stop focusing (purely) in freebies and actually take security seriously for a while. 26/11 lead to a lot of change for the good and India on the whole is better for it.
it is rather shocking that the encirclement India is seeing and the breakdown in the region (Myanmar, BD and now Af) India has not committed itself to at the minimum 2% of GDP on defence instead Modi has presided over historically low (as a % of GDP) defence budgets.
Indians and their freebies, name a more iconic duo.
(+ the Situation in Af is too fishy for my conspiratorial mind, I don’t think it’s good for India but I also don’t think it’s immediately a problem either- Pakis are celebrating FAR too soon and I would be absolutely terrified if I was in their position. The US no longer gives 2 hoots about them as their utility to them for was largely as a land route to support ISAF. Taliban are not the kind of neighbours anyone wants and now they are left with China who are already getting tired of Pakistan’s antics)
Probably talking about upgrading all the ak clones with wooden kit in thier inventory with FAB . Not much excitedSome hopium guys
Hum is ka kadi nindha karthe hain
Oh no
Lol this episode is mentioned in the Book Relentless Strike. Delta was hunting Serbian War criminals.I don't want to sound mean but this story sounds like the improvised version of the story @Hellfire sahb told minus the fact that our men did a freefall and the country in which the op was carried out is rather super hostile xD

It's not an uncommon arrangement.Lol this episode is mentioned in the Book Relentless Strike. Delta was hunting Serbian War criminals.

Well what I was talking about was highly different. Syria was a military unit taking off from a military base to hit a hostile target in essentially a warzone. Not really clandestine but withn the realm of Special Operations in a conventional military theater. They would have had Predators and ISR as well. They would have flown in on blackhawks with a 75th qrf in chinooks on stand byIt's not an uncommon arrangement.
There was an op in Syria where SAS was in country beforehand and operating in the area for intel and then provided overwatch and support while Delta came in with helis and assaulted the compound then left.
OTW Rotor assembly ?.. does CAG/ACE have a mobility squadron just like SAS or JSOC affiliated engineers ?Well what I was talking about was highly different. What I was talking about was a situation where a C17 lands in a friendly country (European). Big haul Trucks come out loaded with 2 Little Birds and 4 delta assaulters. The trucks then drive to the border on a remote part of the country. They unload the Helos, assemble the rotars. Fuel them and then fly and conduct the assault in another country. ISA had flown into the target country in civvies in one's ans twos. Recced the target and provided overwatch. Post the assault the helps were again loaded back onto the trucks and flown out.
The whole time neither of the countries knew JSOC was even on the ground or military action had taken place. The small footprint and logistical reach of JSOC in that operation is truly astounding. Ofcourse the opfor here would not have been has heavy as in Syria but anyways apples and oranges
JSOC has the 160th which will have that capability integral.OTW Rotor assembly ?.. does CAG/ACE have a mobility squadron just like SAS or JSOC affiliated engineers ?
