Every other capable SF unit in the world uses an AR type platform but they must be doing it wrong because Indian SFs totally selected the Tavor on merit

It seems when there’s a choice between tavors and M4 SF operators in India even pick the M4

Stop selling your ‘Indian forces know best’ nonsense, no one is buying it anymore
Bitch please, whether the Tavor was bought on choice or whether it was forced on the SF, it has been in use reliably in operation be at extreme altitudes or deep jungles and SF have put it good use, they are more than welcome to buy any weapon that fits their needs and survives the grueling bureaucratic weapon procurement process . You're dumbass running around thinking that the weapon makes the man, nah nigga. It's the other way around. The same so called elite forces just surrendered Afghan to rag tag numb nuts and ran with their tails between their legs.

I can’t be bothered to rehash the same counterpoints

The proof is in the pudding and we both know it. There’s not a single well regarded SF on the planet that runs with a bullpup rifle, in fact militaries that have a bullpup for their standard issue (SA80, AUG Steyr, FAMAS) have AR platforms for their SFs and elite units.

the guys with endless money to buy whatever they need for the mission ( guys like DEVGRU, CAG, SAS etc) all have AR type rifles

Stop defending the indefensible, no one is saying Indian units haven’t done good things with their rifles but that doesn’t mean they are optimal solutions.

The whole system is broken and apologists like you only make it worse.

Nigga please, they are retiring it because 10 rifles failed during Training. More M-4s failed in real combat 🤣 Indian SF used it for many years and had been used in countless operations, it's good enough. Is it the best rifle ever made? no but it'll do the job. More are being ordered by the way. Like I give two flying shits what you feel darling.
Oooh, the 100% nigga is butthurt :bplease:

Both patterns of rifles, the AR pattern and Tavors are being used by Indian SF. If the news of more Tavors being ordered is true, maybe our troops are more comfortable operating it in the environment that they operate in?

More tavor? Last was for marcos and then there hasn't been any worth mentioning orders by the specops community

There were rumours about the order being placed a while back. That's why I said "if".
That was for scarl and h I think for replacing those old Tavors.we have been using that gun for more time than the israelis themselves we were the Guinea pig and we got it in 2002 itself.the israelis then used the combat advice if their own troops to create the x95 and it was standardised in 2013 now its being replaced .

I’m surprised why aren’t they using Galils instead of ARs, a Galil is an Israeli modified AK so it’s going to be very reliable than an AR.

Retraining the entire infantry who've either used AR 15 patterned rifles or Tavor patterned rifles to a modified AK pattern is going to be a pain in the ass and expensive
