Idk dude, AK is an extremely weird system.
Also, while what you say definitely does apply to shiny Zenitco parts, rough extended use will definitely make it wobblier and wobblier till it sucks harder than Lisa Ann.
Plus, I can't tell by the pictures if those are actually aftermarket parts with our guys or Piccatiny rails arc welded on the upper reciever.

AK's upper receiver rattles and moves a lot. If the optic is mounted on it, there's a good chance it'll lose it's zero.

Tbf, this is the smarter thing to do compared to say.... What the other AK using SOFs do. Never understood the point of putting optics on an unstable part like that.

Except Pakis and Indians most other guys having mofified Aks had put optics over the rails. Thr rattling of the optic may be true but puttjng it on the handguard shifts the weight forward.
Seems that the newer receivers of Ak200 series and PP-19s had over came the issue to some extent. Or just go the beryl or Bulgarian M5F41 way

Unlikely to hit us in the hinterland,they will be cannon fodder thrown to the LOC.
This time we have farkhor air base also, the MIG 29 being purchased from Russia can be stationed there. May be we can get brigade size troops stationed there, if Tajik govt allows us.

So IMO it's an ineffectual weapon against a swarm drone strike. Either the drones will be small and far or hard to acquire or the swarm can be so large you won't engage everything in time. By the time the drones get withing range of being engaged by this type of Gun, the world has already gone tits up

BUT the auto shotgun will throw up a wall of lead either against drones or armed assaulters and buy enough time to get the principal away from the threat.

SPGs mission is to protect their Principal. Nothing more. The outer ring of security - NSG/ARMY/Police - their job is to prosecute and neutralize the active threat beyond the first few minutes of contact

These guys are the last last line of defence for a drone threat

There are outer rings that have soft and hard kill options but say one or a few get through it’s better to have something than nothing

I also noticed that whilst Modi got rid of the MMS/UPA era bulletproof screen at Red Fort, this year (for the first time?) there was a transparent barrier over his speaking position, to protect from threats from the air?
