Yeah, NSG was reorganised with the help of GSG 9 after 26/11. They train together pretty often too. So makes sense.

Don’t think this vest is what the SF need ideally as it doesn’t look modular and looks more like what the regular infantry needs.

The carrier by itself probably doesnt weigh much. The kind of plates used will matter more.

For special forces needs it will probably end up causing restrictions to movement. SF teams around the world seem to prefer agility over all around protection.

Side plates
I haven't seen any SF using Side plates, I may be wrong
But it looks slick though
Edit: notice the padding inside, very similar to Israeli K19 agilite PC
