@AVINASH4061 first of all thanks for your service to the nation and as you are an ex operator, what you think is the reason you guys ( SF) do not get the best available equipment in the right number?

Even Canadian SF looks better equipped with 1/3rd of the Indian defence budget

But the spending per soldier would be much higher as they have very less soldiers. Also many of these Nato nations dont have that much armour or arty or other units as we have. Everyone is saying about the modernisation of Russian SFs in recent years, but if i qm correct such a grand and rapid scale modernisation happened jn SF, subs etc only qnd not into whole army or armed forces. Then again jn India if SF is 20 years behind the Nato levels then other units are 30 or 40 years behind the Nato

Canadian JTF-2 is a Tier 1 unit by anybodys standard.

NO OFFENCE But this guys are trying hard to built up their existence more on insta not in the SF community. From 2 days too many different pics of garuds are circulating across Insta

These days you see the same with Army SF soldiers as well. One of the draw backs of having lower age of SOF intake
