Exercise Shakti video shoot by French that's why it looks cool
Ye humare bawasir
NGL this is genuinely good. The Infantry's loadout if made standard is up to par with the median Western infantry loadout (leave out the Apex militarise).
SF loadout in the video does look off but they are also making strides as we have seen with 9, 4 and 11. The progress is very visible and it's exciting because most of the kit is becoming more and more standardised throughout the force.
Obviously, majority of the army is still kitted out in WW2 equipment but hopefully in the next 10 yrs the average army grunt will be adequately equipped with a good primary (716i or AK203), a good PC, a proper ACH type helmet and other standard stuff.
As for the F-INSAS bullshit, it's clear that even the army leadership on the ground is not onboard with it. Because we haven't seen that abomination of a loadout with any frontline personnel or during any exercises. Hopefully we'll be able to bridge that gap between the on-ground troops and the leadership at the top with the help of officers like Brig Shekhawat.
Fingers crossed 🀞🏻🀞🏻🀞🏻🀞🏻🀞🏻

Replace fast helmets with ACH and it's a decent Loadout for standard infantry without a doubt

That is exactly what you have Chest Rigs for if you want to move around/Reccee without plates. But hey why would they think of that and expand their kit when they can stay in the same two decade old pattern!
Yes but this situation definately required a PC so weird how they couldn't add Plates to their PC same happened in several other excercises too with us too you have PC but not plates as for Chest rigs would have loved them to have a CAG like rig setup but they don't seem interested in it considering the major players like Armasen and Olive Planet haven't given it a go yet
