You must be talkin about the SIG 716 G2 rifle whic is very different from the IA's SIG 716 "i" rifle.....the 716 G2 (DMR) features a short-stroke pushrod gas system. While our specifically made SIG 716 Features a direct impingement system, the DI system significantly decreased the recoil of 7.62 NATO + the shorter 16 inches [406 mm] free floating barrel further decreases the kick. It a good rifle, our soldiers are not used to battle rifle let them train a little and they will handle the recoil like a champ
a free floated barrell does not reduce recoil (kick), it helps in accuracy.

Their is a new camo seen in above discussion what is your take on it?
Woodland camo suits better in the above pic, but the pattern is old, should pixelate the camo, and can be used effectively in That particular theatre,
But the GOC's camo from the video is not at all suitable for this particular terrain, maybe suited for desserts/arid terrain
