MARCOS have received new holsters with their new Adani/PLR-IWI Masada’s.

is it that same quick release holster that chambers a round for you ?

Call it wishful thinking but since Marcos has been showing the best way ahead for Indian SF, how long do you think it will take before they transition from these cumbersome thigh holsters to something more slick like Safariland with a QAS on their battle belts? pretty sure they have come across that during training with Americans!

This is an old photo, as of today 99% of Marcos use waist-level holsters mounted on their rigger belts / battlebelts.

those round chambering holsters were never widely used ... only soviets had them and it was trash .. tbh this whole concept will be dumb and risky .

the holster they are using is just a level one retention holster with an ALS , honestly something like a safriland would be better as it has various retention levels available and the the canted design is much better for faster draws with a bulky gear on their sides .It would also better for installing on battle belts with thigh straps .

Some models also have sight hoods to protect the lenses of the rmr from dust and Debry which this holster lacks .

QAS helps with that issue. enough spacing between the belt and the holster so that it does not snag into any gear, and optimal height so that the draw is quicker.
