Yeah cuz the thing is both the PARA TA units are always commanded by a SF officer and 80% men are from the regular PARA units!

So it will be helpful to have a reserved units...

this is the strongwall method, again what Pars SF use in our country. Now observe how slow and carefull they go because perhaps they are training so getting it perfect once. Our guys rush in, and I admire the bravery, but it also got a Capt from 10 Para killed in Parampore 2016. This should be a great learning video

21 & 2 SF should've been reseve battalions, and the expansion of SF should've stopped there and then

I don't agree with this point! The thing is before 21MLI was raised by Shinde uncle to 21SF in 1995, 1&10 used to carry out OPs in the NE region!

21 was converted for this this specific reason only but they did operate in the the J&K for gaining the needed experience, mostly in and around Lolab and Rajwar area!

And in the early 2000s 2Airborne was converted to SF to support 1, 3Airborne was converted to support 10, 4Airborne was converted to support 9!

The idea was always to have 2 specific SFs in each theatre(North, West and NE)!

6Airborne was due for conversion in 2006 to support 21 in NE but it was called of, then in 2011 11SF was raised followed by 12SF in 2012!

13SF was raised for Desert and High-Alti Warfare in 2022 and 5,6&7 were also converted parallelly!

Now the thoughts are for each theatre to have three SFs each with one SF on rotation for HA posting and five Sf units to under the 50th PARA Bgd!

We broke the story, it was clearly written that Arbel system can be fitted with Arad, Negevs, galil,etc..

Arbel is a Fire control system for accurate fire! Arad is a rifle, we may buy the arbel system but its a attachment not the weapon itself!

He posted this pic sometimes ago, you can see the Arbel system on the mag-well side!

The Adani/PLR call it the 'Arad Arbel'.

Without the Arbel system its just "Arad"!
