I was not lucky enough to be issued any of these. You would know I am saying the truth if you would go through my pics. Welcome to the truth.@AVINASH4061 Sir, what helmet did you prefer using in combat?Patka,MKU,OR 201, Team Wendy exfil etc? Also is there any particular reason the SF has purchased few non ballistic versions on the TW Exfil helmet too?

Ha man i don't say he was bulky as the Mr. Olympia types but ripped one.. Sorry the Thor mention was just purely literal one.17 inches is achievable...above that i dont agree.
Thor in Marvel would be 16.5 to 17 inches i guess
like the godzilla saga.So this thread is reduced to Identify the SF is indian or not again?
So even Patka helmets weren’t issued to you guys? I was of the idea that these were common among infantry and SF since the 90s. As nowdays even regular infantry is being issued indigenous MKU helmets or similar equivalents.I was not lucky enough to be issued any of these. Question, do you think the regular infantry needs to establish a sub-section unit (like two 4-man fireteams within a section and a section commander) to increase tactical flexibility and flesh out tactics? It seems the current 10 man section as a base unit limits the firepower and maneuverability of troops.I was not lucky enough to be issued any of these. The section splits in to a support gp and aslt gp when required. Also remember the tasking dictates the kind of equipping too. Unfortunately the equipment profile is obsolete to have further divisions that can let a 4 man team achieve it's task. Also fighting the actual combat is very very different from clicking the mouse to fire a shot and pressing 'Ctrl C' to crouch. A 4 man team never wants to get in to an independent fire fight, doesn't matter which SF they are. Even the Green Berets have a 12 member fighting unit with all kinds of specialists.Question, do you think the regular infantry needs to establish a sub-section unit (like two 4-man fireteams within a section and a section commander) to increase tactical flexibility and flesh out tactics? Ill fitting patkas with inadequate trauma management were available. I never picked one.
An ODA is trained to function as 2 subunits of 6 each as well. And the 2 subunits can operate relatively independent (pursing primary and secondary taskings) of each others objective.. Even the Green Berets have a 12 member fighting unit with all kinds of specialists.
