IDK , cant get anything upon reverse search
Looking upon the MKU quads, the helmet that looks like a MKU one and the PC that looks like an MKU one this image is most probably from the MKU facility/exhibition unless we have opted to buy everything from them ,which is nearly impossible

I think it was trex arms who said that his friends in ranger regiment and GB told him that each unit cost around 10k or less for them.
That was 3-4 years ago, at that time it was mainly
L3 harris producing those for white seals and gb , since then many companies around the globe started making those and many countries started purchasing them as well, so I thought you have to cut the prices down if you want to survive the competition.
Also the price was also because how tightly regulated it was for civilian market and if I am not wrong companies or buyer had to take special permission to acquire them as well, even if you had 40 k ,it was not easy to purchase for civilian.
Anybody from US in this forum might be able to provide more insights.
Most people don't have $40k to blow on quad nods in the first place. I'm from the US and several states don't have any regulations or some with certain restrictions to purchase NVGs (barring California & Minnesota) though it restricts them to export or carry em outside the US. Certain high end ones like EOTech had a civilian restriction in the past (unsure if it's still in place) since they don't want someone to reverse engineer.

Optics Planet site isn't even asking any out of the norm info to buy EOTech's PNVGs

You can see air-softers & hunters use NODs regularly. There are some restrictions like you can't own a full auto-rifle, suppressors, compensators etc and particular blue states like California or NY make it significantly harder to even get a CCW permit

I frequent the gun store to buy ball ammo (I own a Sig P365 Nitron) and the process to buy optics is easier because you don't even need to fill out an FFL form. I'll ask em this question during my next visit

forget everything else, I want to see the reactions of pahadi chua and elite predidators if they see Para SF in this gear. I'm sure they'll be like - "not all SF guys will wear this because they realize it's not only about the night! We have 72'd our enimies even during day time. The more you know" Or "Guy's this is why we were quite, we knew this already. But guys would usually do this and that.."

Watch 18:55 , I don't know much about U.S laws,
He said they are hard to acquire for civilians.
Videos is 3 years old.
Maybe things changed now.
General nvg's might be easy to procure but top of the line stuff is not .
Just like you can maybe acquire a peq 2 or peq 15 but acquiring ngal maybe hard.

MKU quads seem like low quality including the external finish. Tonbo's look far better

NSG and MARCOs definitely do, I guess Para SF spend time dry firing 🤣
US Tier 1 (JSOC) units shoot an avverage of 300-500 rounds a week. Basis al the Bio books i have ready.

Cannot speak for NSG or Marcos but i doubt they shoot that much even in a month. Marcos EVEN less so. Simply put the budgets done allow for it. A decade ago i had broached this subject with a soldier - for the life of me cant rememeber what he said but it was a low number

Happy to be corrected
