Mate idk what news you are following but there is plenty of money going into infrastructure where I am from the gov curroption at local level isn't something gov can control by the there is plenty of money going in infrastructure failure of army's mordenisation does not make india a failed nation ffs learn the meaning of the word first.

Most blackpilling thing about the indian military is that having fought in a hot counterinsurgency within the last 2 decades (practically a proxy war), you’d assume they’d learn some lessons and change the method of their operations. BUT nope, the method of operations is the exact same as it was back in the day. Same search and cordon with the 6 man team entering the house and getting into gunfights, with a 70% chance of succeeding, and if they don’t succeed and suffer casualties, they retreat and blow the house down.
it’s actually pathetic how this is considered a superpower military in 2023. Theres hardly any achievements to brag of since 1947, and i’d argue that its doctrine in 1947 which saw excellent cohesion between the army and airforce, is far superior to what it is now. They learn hardly any lessons despite having the perfect parameters and opportunities within their own countries to do so. Sad state.

Life is cheap here in India, we have alot of people.

Life is cheap here in India, we have alot of people.

The day Indian parents will realise this, they will never allow or give consent to send their sons to Army. Also so many casualties and deaths when we are not even at war, is making a lot of parents concerned.
Especially the educated parents who have access to social media. In my village, a few insisted their sons to join other gov jobs but not army. My friend is one of them. He is used to think of joining army but now is rather focused on private or PSU jobs.

Also with the growth of social media, people are getting concerned about deaths after deaths every month that includes lieutenants and colonels. People are no longer interested with Just Josh. They want to live.
