These are the men who die for us and these are how their families support the country,

yet the government thankless shits and the Mughal media will expose our soldiers positions making them targets for their own personal gain

BTW the said soldier in question was no older than 18-19. Looking at his army pic he was very very young

Some of the best urban warfare battles everyone should read about
1. Battle of fallugah
2. Battle of Marawi
3. Battle of Mosul

Add on to this ..
For India I can think of:
Battle of Jaffna
Battle of Dograi
Battle of Bhaduria (my favorite one- legit legends on both sides)
Raid on trincomalee (or some town- i forgot but 10 para literally kicked ass over there and avenged it’s Jaffna helidrop fiasco)
Some encounters in late 90s-03 around urban areas which saw deaths of 20-23 militants

For USA:
Both battles of Fallujah were very tough. Showed American willpower to fight. Hats off to them tbh s. The first one shows how tactics can beat a vastly superior technical force in assymetrical warfare.

Hoever, when you talk urban warfare, you can’t leave outeastern front in ww2.

Want to share a story of a dare devil operation done by regular infantry back in 1990.

His name was Naik Charan Singh. He belonged to the 24th battalion of the Punjab regiment.

The year was 1990. The month was July. The army had been returning from a rather eventful tenure in Sri Lanka. Tired, it had no idea on what was to come in the following years. 1990 was the second year of the Kashmir insurgency. Large infiltration groups of militants numbering anywhere from 40-100 were extremely common at this time. Back then, the LoC was not fenced, and only half of the identified infiltration routes could be properly sealed. Many encounters would take place, with scores of militants dying but we also lost fine men. Within 7 months of operations, the army would eliminate upwards of 400 militants along the border, losing 36-50 men in the process.

It was July 17th 1990. A large group of 43 militants had a made a successful infiltration bid. After making a stop, they ordered for a civilian bus. At this time, a “operation” was undertaken to eliminate them, but in a slightly different manner. Naik Charan Singh, an NCO of 24 Punjab, would volunteer to disguise himself as a local Kashmiri driver, and drive the militants, but not to the location they desired, but to a killing ground for 15th Rajputana rifles. The kill zone was marked with a large stone in the middle of the road.

Naik Charan Singh would Gain the militants trust, in a calming and cool manner. He drove to the ambush site, but it wasn’t all easy. The militants would question him on what he was doing, but he kept his cool. At last, when he reached the ambush site, he got out to remove the stone, which would signal the start of the ambush. After doing this, he switched the lights of truck off and proceeded to the ambush site. The militants had by now learned they mistake, they tried opening fire at him but it was too late. An ambush party of 15 Raj rif brought down heavy fire and destroyed the entire group, killing 21 and capturing 2. Huge quantities of arms were captured including 14 AK 47s, 3 UPMGS, one RL, were captured. Naik Charan Singh was given the Kirti Chakra for this fantastic conduct in the operation. Asides from the guide, we suffered no casualty in the entire op.

Man, the sheer ballsack on every jawan or field officer is fucking unreal. You gotta wonder, if these guys were being led by career officiers who also had ballsacks and brains the size of these guys, the Indian war machine would have had been the most fearsome in the entire Asian region. What threat could be a Chink or Soviet when you have literal lions being led by lions.

Reading into Kashmir ops, you’ll find such badasses and brains amongst the field levels up to brigadier, and in often cases back then Maj Gens as well. I can post about so many operations in which unconventional tactics were reviewed and authorized by the Command and field levels. I keep saying the level of resourcefulness displayed by field men is often unmatched. It’s the institution and political resolve which needs to be strengthened.

Just recently came to know about a very young sepoy (in my pfp- taken the year of his martyrdom) who chased three very dreaded terrorists in December 2000 and shot two dead. Jumped in the building alone too.

The people of this country are patriotic like no other, it's the country itself which fucks them in the ass. Then when it is too late, we trend our regrets on twitter or launch bullshit news episodes to increase TRP.

It is what it is. Salute to those guys.

I’m in a wonderful mood right now, so I’ll post about another very tough operation done, this time by Para SF.

Year is 2006.
The high level insurgency in Kashmir is on the verge of defeat. Hizbul, Harkat, and Lashkar are on their last toes.

3 Para SF was the leading battalion this year in terms of kills. In 11 months it carried out relentless operations. Working day in and day out. 58 hardcore terrorists dominated during its overall tenure earned it a COAS unit citation.

one such operation needs mention though.
In which a real HVT was eliminated, and strategic victory was achieved. Hizbul was severely weakened by this loss and continued to fade well into 2000s-2010s, while Jaish would become the new threat.

A 3 para SF squad, led by Major MAnish Pitambre, had been tracking Hizbul top leadership for months. On Novermber 26, 2006, they would get their opportunity.
Suhail Faisal was a very hardy militant. He was a top commander of the Hizbul and had been so for some time. After getting inputs on his location. He and his squad tracked the militant down and annihilated him. Unfortunately, he was martyred in the progress, but the results were decisive- Hizbul was weakening and weakening and fading and fading.

We have one of the strongest warrior spirit .....
Tbh we Indians can make one of the most strongest insurgency if ever the need arises ..... But would be defeated due to the coward greedy few lurking among us who would not bat an eye before selling their souls for money, validation ,power and recognition because our society is in chunks ...

I say this before and say it again. It’s impossible to overrun India. Sure inflict as many casualties as you want,

but Indians won’t go down without a fight

Anyway I’m sick of this “bravery” talk.

not only are the field men very brave, they also display ingenuity in their tactics.

Stay tuned

Man have you seen our civilization? We were cooking dal, having known why and how to do the tadka as early as Chandragupta's wedding. Half the people who work for companies like NASA or maybe Raytheon are Indian. There is no lack of genius people anywhere in this country, even if Western countries like to cope about population or whatever.

At the risk of sounding Jai Ho, India is like an elephant. It moves slowly, but it does the whole world feels the impact.

However the people who sell out the country are still a product of our society. I still think this selling out roots back to the socialist era when instead of quality, the criteria was who you boot licked. I have no doubt that as we deal with people like those slowly but surely, India will make strides.
