If I remember correctly Marcos did some good sneaky ops in Sri Lanka quite similar to the ones done by US sf in Vietnam but were never acknowledged .

The similarity between Vietnam for US and Sri Lanka for us is baffling to me.

No I think he meant to say CD, but ended up saying "Marine Commandos" nevertheless because he wanted to specify Operation X as a special operation and anyways CD was the grandfather for MARCOs and MARCOs were selected out of CD divers for a long time. So yeah just take it lightly. No big thing in this. It's like someone saying SEALs cleared beaches in Korea during the Korean war to address UDT to an audience that might have never known of UDT

No I mean "I am the weapon," is cool as long as you invest in Human resource development in fauj. Where do you see that happening when they lower the standards to get more people come in, when they lay emphasis on expanding the size of battalions and number of battalions. Where does it even make them a weapon, it makes them more of a tool whose use is not defined yet

Janab, I just want to speak truths.

Most claims I make (untrolling) are usually backed by literature or army interviews. The only place where I stand corrected was my stand on Lanka and LTTE from October. I’ve read total of 5 books on it and watched Sapru Sahabs interview. Currently watching Jocko. My viewpoint while extremely different is not the same as the people who argued with me, however.
