I believe here in this setup, it’s more on the individual’s own preference to have it handy on his plate carrier. Though others may also have it in their bags or pouches.

Crye vests cost around 15k-45k depending on the model. I own one a CRYE vest and one Warrior Assault System vest. I felt WA was superior when it came to quality.
