Loose the quad nods and drop leg holseter, replace them with bi-nods and a hip holster with a single leg strap.

Unlike 8 week terrorist bootcamp trainees that lot of insurgents were trained in Pakistan Army Camps and guided by SSG commandos. They were no lesser than their counterparts in Afghanistan.

IED, Solar rockets, ambushes, kidnapping everything happened there.

Don't compare apples and oranges. In Afghanistan, jihadis were present in a larger amount but so were the NATO countries/allies and still, they couldn't control that patch of land.
Give credit where it is due. From 2000 militant to 200 per year, we have come up a long long way.

France is arguably the most capable full spectrum military after the US. They have the ability to operate independently from NATO, the U.K. has no such capability anymore. Look up France’s recent exploits in Africa. They actually maintain conventional might unlike most of Europe,, the U.K. has maybe 30 MBT operational as of today.

France has not technically given proper independence to their colonies of Africa. Most French colonies had to sign pact with French that French will look after their security and will have first right to natural resources of these countries.

France has been exploiting all their former colonies and have toppled Govt there often. Most Leaders in these countries are French puppets.

And this is without air support too, and with fighting militants one hands behind your back. So it’s safe to say India is at the top when it comes to COIN.

NSG do not have any sf component,You dont even know what are the mandates of sf ,do you ?
NSG is an intervention unit and sag is just specialized unit within it, gsg9 gign and nsg including sag can not be called sf ,
Having sf personel from deputation doesnt make it sf .
Gsg9 or gign may conduct some ops outside their own mandate,but that doesnt make them sf.

Thats not sf in nature , thats an intervention role which is their whole mandate, Nsg mandate is to intervene when something inside country is going on, both of the ops you listed comes under their mandate , its not sf like.
