Such dead stuffed animals and skins exists in all IA, IN and IAF messes from the British time as trpophies as hunting during British time was a major passtime and hobby. Then they used to exhibit those skins in the Mess.

The practice of hunting is not prevelant after independence. What ever existed can not be thrown off.

The Garuds need to something about standardising the uniforms/combat fatigues. They are the only ones to wear t-shirts with BJs. Looks unprofessional, not to mention the tshirts have no camo.
Then there is the added problem of standardisation of equipment among soldiers of the same section even. One is with heavy armour and knee pads and goggles, the next with a older BJ and no knee pads, come on man.... Why?

Different camos is strange indeed, but the rest is just personal choice. Some like to wear knee pads or gloves, others dont. Honestly, its understandable is this climate.

Agreed. Yes they are capable soldiers- no doubt, but it seems there is a need to mature a bit as a force. Their appearance was shoddy- everyone in different dress with 0 stadardisation. Does not project an image of a proffesional and cabaple military unit.
