It is good for special forces, small, fuel efficient, concealable, spare-parts, cheap and fast. The Americans use dune buggy's.

I think the regular army needs a new larger jeep/flatbed modular truck like the humvee with increased capabilities/performance. But there will always be a place for the nimble gypsy.
