I will watch pirated version after careful review, FUC*K Bollyjehadiwood no offence.
Plus acting wise I don't have much hopes,
Also I suspect their will be OVER acting, OVER melodramatic DIALOGUES And over emotional moments , Far from reality action sequences etc etc . I will be glad if I am wrong.

lets see how it goes. i hope it rockz....we need kick ass military movies as well.

Don't worry, this would be something that you have never witnessed before from Bollywood. Proper training of the actors and attention to details are being given. I am desperately waiting for this one.

Vicky Kaushal training five hours a day for Uri

Vicky Kaushal will be playing a commander-in-chief who led the 2016 surgical strike in Uri. Aditya Dhar is directing the project.

Actor Vicky Kaushal is going through extensive military training for his next project Uri, based on Indian Army’s surgical strikes across the LoC. The actor, who plays a Pakistani major in Raazi that released today, will be playing a commander-in-chief who led the 2016 surgical strike in Uri. Aditya Dhar is directing the project.

“I am training for five hours every day. Then there is three to four hours of military training, you get to enhance your stamina, go through obstacle training, you are slithering. I am receiving gun training right now,” the actor told PTI.

“I go to gym and train at the naval base in Cuffe Parade (in Mumbai). Army men help me with training. As of now they are helping us. I have to gain some weight. I am looking forward to the shoot,” he adds.

The film produced by Ronnie Screwvala’s production arm, RSVP, will go on floors soon. “We will fly to Serbia, where we will shoot for two months,” he says.

Vicky Kaushal injures his arm while shooting in Serbia

Actor was rushed to hospital when he injured his arm during an action sequence; returned to Mumbai over the weekend but will resume shooting in a few days

Vicky Kaushal, who started shooting for his next, Ronnie Screwvala’s Uri based on the Indian army’s surgical strikes in Pakistan occupied Kashmir following the attacks on Uri on September 29, 2016, injured his right arm during an action sequence last week and had to be rushed to a hospital in Serbia. The actor returned to Mumbai for a few days over the weekend.

During his stay here, Vicky will be shooting for a prior commitment, resting in between breaks before he returns to the film sets. Shooting for the film, helmed by debutant director Aditya Dhar, also featuring Yami Gautam, Paresh Rawal, Kirti Kulhari and Mohit Raina, kicked off in Serbia in June.

A source from the set reveals that Vicky had been training daily in action because the film requires him to pull off some daredevil stunts. During one such sequence, he injured his arm badly and was in unbearable pain. “The doctors said it was due to muscle inflammation and overexertion.

He has been undergoing daily physiotherapy sessions and will resume shooting in Serbia later in the week. The team has made arrangements and planned the schedule in a way to ensure that the injury isn’t aggravated,” added the source.

After this schedule, the team will be filming in Mumbai, the dates for which have yet to be finalised. Vicky plays the commander-in-chief who led this operation and a group of paratroopers. The actor, who has bulked up for the part, currently weighs 90 kgs and has been filming the action sequences with Stefan Richter who has worked on films like Kick and Dishoom in the past and more recently Saaho.
