Two things to take note of like i have earlier posted:-
1.Para officers holding some of the important posts in the school.
2.I grade or the Instructors grade and its importance.

I think its a series but i honestly felt they could have done a better job with editing.Last years Para SF documnetary was way better in terms of how the narration and editing was.

9 PARA (SPECIAL FORCES) Erstwhile 9 PARA COMMANDO

From conducting cross border raids to clandestine operation in the valley to once providing inner security cover to the Prime Minister (1985-1985) to scaling Peaks , the 9 PARA (SPECIAL FORCES) is a true all rounder.

Initially known as 9 PARA COMMANDO , the unit has seen some of the fiercest battles and raids in history including the Mandhol Raid of 1971 and the Surgical Strike of 2016.

It were the officers of the 9 PARA SF who recommended the Government Of India , the tactical C-130 J Aircraft when they saw it first in England.

Talking about gallantry and bravery , the unit has 4 Ashok Chakra awardees and have bestowed with the title of "Bravest Of The Brave" in 2001.

Reputation comes with a big responsibilities , it was the 9 PARA SF which created other Special Operation Forces and Versatile Forces of India like the NSG , SG etc.

No doubt 9 PARA (SPECIAL FORCES) is the best of the best of the very best

Since 2015 Operation Peace cross-border strikes, there have been potentially 3 other strikes in Myanmar:

1. 2016/05/30: Strikes carried out in Myanmar against CorCom to retaliate for ambush of 6 AR on 22nd May in Manipur.
Totally denied by Army.

2. 2016/08/19: 12 Para SF executes strike against NSCN-K along district Mon in Nagaland.
Confirmed to have occurred by denied to be cross border by Army

3. 2017/09/04: 21 Para SF special operation against NSCN-K opposite District Longding in Aurnachal Pradesh
Confirmed to have occurred by denied to be cross border by Army

For records sake, there was at least 1 cross-border strike in Bangladesh as well some years back, but I can't get concrete info on it.

In Udhampur, at the Northern Command headquarters, General Hooda (now retired) had his resignation letter ready in his pocket, just in case the mission failed. Matters were tense till the SF teams returned to base on September 29. A total of 70-75 Pak-trained militants and Pak Army regulars were killed, says the book.

Isn't the open magazine slit prone to entering of dust or debris into the the magazine and possibly cause a jam?
Or is it covered by a clear plastic or something?

In this link what is it that these two guys in the middle are holding, which also has a see through glass. Can this be used to save soldier lives during an encounter or during close quarter combat
