Hmmm, an interesting one guys:

Tt is obvious they are IA. But they are no PARA (SF) I am almost 100% certain as not only are they not using the MARS RDS which is the only RDS the PARA (SF) has ever put on their Tavors but this guy doesn't look like SF at all. On PDF a reliable member has labelled him as from a Ghatak platoon, so does this mean the Ghataks are now getting the Tavor?

+ it is only the military (IA,IAF,IN) that uses the Tavor (TAR, CTAR, GTAR, STAR)- the CAPFs (CRPF, BSF etc) use the X-95 (MTAR).

@Kunal Biswas @aditya g @Nuvneet Kundu @sayareakd @VIP thoughts?

Indeed, it doesn't look like an operation. But the fact remains, until now only the SF had the Tavor and this isn't an SF guy and the sight isn't in use by the SF so who has the Tavor now in the IA outside of the SF?

Renault Sherpa.

Beard vs Mustache: Beards are traditionally frowned upon in the world's armies. In India Sikhs were allowed to, and probably Islamic countries allowed (prefer?) it for religious reasons.

Sexy vehicle! Do you know the name and use it?

Keeping moustaches is more of a personal choice, But we also keep beards in Counter Insurgency areas ..

I've noticed many Indian soldiers - especially from the special forces; keep moustaches. In the Pakistan army we mostly keep beards.

Could also be Andhra Police Greyhound Commandos, I heard they were using Tavors and X-95s as well.

Combine exercise with SF at some place ..

In the wake of terrorist attacks on Military and Civil setups Indian Army Special forces and SWAT of Punjab police are undergoing a joint training. The aim of this training is to enhance synergy between the two by intelligence sharing, mutual capability enhancement, adopting new tactics, intelligence collation & analysis, studying terrorist behaviour & modus operandi, IED handling and fighting in built-up areas. This will empower police for optimal response to terrorist threats in the future. (ADGPI - Indian Army)

Could also be Andhra Police Greyhound Commandos, I heard they were using Tavors and X-95s as well.
Source for your claim?
Grey hounds won't get tavors or X-95s..
They have Fn-Fal with them.
Problem with AP govt is ..they say " after ambush naxals take away finest equipment from our slain jawans"
This is why GH dont have BP vests...and of course they are nothing in front of Cobra commandos / CRPF chaps in terms of equipment.
Have a nice day. :yo:

If state police units can step up, then we will not need srg battalions in nsg.
