let me tell ya why,
i've had extensive discussion over it in past with some of people i found on internet on teligram, discurd etc...
and some ;reasons; if you really could tell it, were
> blue ensign causing visibility issues in bluewaters reeeeeeeee cannot see the jhandaa
yeah like...

^all these had blue part in them and never ever fucking heard about such bullshit from their navy huh
best case,Royal Malaysian Navy which also had very similar ensign to what we have here
this, before and after (borders not shown)

...like these guys can perfectly see blue part in their ensign but ours cannot ?! i simply refuse to believe in this reason at all

> because Sant George is patron saint of the Navy, and after replacing the ensign without his cross on it, accidents started happening "so navy became paranoid about it and asked for return of older ensign"
^NO FUCKING JOKE IT WAS TOLD TO ME BY AN EX-NAVAL PILOT WHO FLEW MIG-29K BEFORE RETIRING

as per him this was actual issue but mostly kept under the rugs 🤷‍♂️

my personal belief is it all happened because 2004 general elections, fall of vajpayee and NDA sarkar coming to power
Sailors everywhere have always been a superstitious bunch.

Buddy Kustana the son of Ashoka were staunch Dharmik a Devotee of Shiva who formed a vast Dharmik foothold just northwest of modern day Tibet a foothold of DHARMA from where Both Brahman and Buddha traditions spread to China and beyond.

Ashok adopted Buddha's teaching just like any other Brahman or Kshatriya of those times. Ashoka Chakra is rooted in the Mahabharata times Chakra tradition of BHARATA CHAKRAVARTIN.

Levina must not make remarks out of ignorance. Ashoka Chakra is the Chakra of BHARATA CHAKRAVARTIN himself and that is exactly the path Ashoka treaded that is the Chakravartin tradition of MAHABHARATA and earlier.
There is nothing buddhist about it.
mate, you need to start exercising self control. this post is offtopic for this thread.
you can always, reply in a separate relevant thread. make a conscious effort.

I hope with the aircrat carrier ready they quickly get done with tender of 26 'stop-gap' carrier fighter jet contract, F/A-18E or Rafale-M or whatever. Currently we're sharing about 36 some Mig-29K among two carriers, each having capacity to readily utilise 26 on each....so arming one carrier at full capacity would mean arming other at 3/5th of capacity.

New naval insignia is very unique.
Octagon showing the legacy of shivaji maharaj. National emblem looking mighty royal and the naval anchor ⚓ .

Just beautiful and befitting majesty of India.
Yes I totally agree and it conforms with international standards by the way. The way it is set up, it is instantly recognizable over vast distances in the sea and stands against the backdrop of the ocean and sky. Great design!!

36 are Mig-29K and remaining are Mig-29KUB trainer variants with dual pilots-seats etc, but man those KUB are the ones that we've lost mainly here in various crashes and i am not so supportive of putting them on active duty on carriers; already there are tonnes of issues on Mig-29Ks with engines underperforming, having little payload even on fuel and so and now we're putting another pilot plus required equipments in cockpit further imbalancing it, so nay.

Ya'll Nibbiars this littoral Navy even reached Andamans. When the seas were dominated by the Europeans.

It's like comparing Apple to oranges and igniting regional non existing rivalries. The seams old British method used by the khangress and now this.

I believe it's 26, if we use 0 helicopters.

Also folded F18 is 1.5- 2m wider than mig29k. So let's hope it can fit equal number as quoted .

Even if they miss the schedule by a decade, what are the repercussions for a DPSU? Nothing.

So not like they owe any explanation to the shareholders...its all a 'take it or leave it' approach. So, they're comfortable with being bashful :tongue2:
CSL built the first Aircraft Carrier with no prior experience in just 12 years from the keel laying in 2009. That too when work was hampered in between due to Russia playing hardball with the steel and CSL went on a partnership with DRDO and Domestic PSU SAIL to get the steel done.
