This is because much of the future weapons package meant for this ship is under development:
1) SMART anti submarine rocket torpedo, to replace RBU-6000.
2) Subsonic LRCM to complement Brahmos.
3) Naval SRSAM to complement LRSAM to form a layered air defence system.

As per Defence Decode, the design of the 6 indigenous SSN will be similar to K-335 Gepard, an Akula class SSN.

I don't think so

Go through my posts 1 year back or so , when I said something about the construction of a hull and its transfer .

SSN design externally will be closer to western designs with eastern influence, while the internals will be split between western and eastern .

Also the SSN design has a strong possibility of including VLS cell clusters. Design of VLS with internal motors points towards that possibility.

Why will Russia give access to Laika design ?

Nobody will share any hydrodynamic details relating to their modern submarines.

Yeah it should be 6,000 tonnes submarines and with 24 or more VLS. That the rumour going around. Even I see a one post the Naval Group is helping us. But I think that's a rumour's.

I don't think 24 VLS would be possible in a 6000-ton sub.

As long as the IN remains unable to incorporate UVLS modules in its ships, they will continue being under-armed.

SMART is a missile, RBU-6000 is an anti-submarine rocket.

These designs aint being used in any known project. Now suddenly there's subs to be kicked off from next financial year only... Isn't it likely this design would be used for those SSNs?

Can not be confirmed without obtaining detailed design schematics of the internal compartments, which I doubt any of us here ever will. Frankly, if I were to design a warship, I would simply do away with different launch cells for different missiles and fit the ship with only 0.8-meter diameter cells of different heights instead, which would allow us to use all types of available weapons from Brahmos to LRSAM and also quad pack the Astra based QRSAMs.
