This is the second attack by terrorists using sniper rifle in Tral area. 3 days back ssb jawan was killed. Failure to nab this terrorist results in another jawan martyrdom.

I am disappointed at this.It is not difficult to locate attacker. If army can sanitise 2 km around army camp, army can track this motherfucking terrorist. They should hav done this after fatal attack on SSB. Hope We can capture this motherfucker along with his rifle earliest

One head shot & 2 body shots in one episode is not luck. That's why I feel that this scumbag is not the run-of-the-mill jihadi. He must be the Paki SSG sniper infiltrated in the valley.
Further there has been 2 episodes of sniper kill shots within one week - definitely not a lucky jihadi!!

Do we have dedicated Snipers' training school? Seems like Pakis have an upper hand in this regard, May be they hide their casualties of our sniping but we need to enhance our specialist long range sniping skills along with equipments.

Why this govt is allowing terrorists to conduct open funeral for dead terrorists? How come these terrorists openly participate in funeral and then goes without any hindrance?

Open funerals allows us to show that Hindus are secular and tolerant

@ezsasa one can get intel on terrorist sympathizers from snooping on the dead terrorist's house to see who visits. Allowing them to have a public rally and gather a big crowd does not help in any way. It allows the terrorists to mix in the crowd, and overall undermines the writ of the state. If the handlers or mules visit a dead terrorist's home to pay money to his parents, they can be tracked. Besides, from a propaganda perspective, showing that "the ungrateful crowd you die for does not care for your dead sons" has a great ring to it. Instead of allowing them to be portrayed as heroes. Let there be a quiet and somber funeral where not even a dog shows up. If someone shows up, nab them.

Kinda & not a good one. For starters IA doesn't even have proper sniper rifles....Dragunovs at best are DMRs!

It's kind of DUMB decision making at IA/MOD. They spend billions to get advanced weaponry but hadn't spent a meager 10 million to get the best sniper rifles!!!

They've finally woken up & are now looking for some REAL sniper rifles!
