They are just firing 2 rounds each at a time, tango is hiding in the grass. I think tango was Changing positions and firing at soldiers.

I don't think this should be considered as wastage, maybe this is how rats are cornered and killed.

They had used the big ones to locate the general area of tango as per the news reports, what we see in this video is last stages of encounter.

We should remember that IA does not use quadcopters, only fixed wing. I am not sure if fixed wing can be of use, especially in such a trees filled area.

But as a principle I don't believe in excessive use of technology, anyways we are a long way from such technology intensive operations.

Dear Tharun, although I may not be 100% correct on this, but AK's are made to robust and durable. They are made to fire heavy 7.69 rounds. So to make a rifle more robust on extreme climate you would have to sacrifice its precision to an extent. This might be the reason that its not a high precision weapon, but a damn reliable and robust one in any climatic condition.

I would like to add to what Chinmoy said. Accuracy of AK varies from manufacturer to manufacturer. This is due to production quality. Since AK was designed to be able to take lot of punishment and still function well, it does not have very fine tolerance.

Another reason for inaccuracy is steel cased ammo. I have fired AK builds with brass ammo and steel-cased ammo with clear difference in accuracy.
