I don't want to derail the thread but don't you think Indian army need a new camo.
@Kunal Biswas Are there any plans for better ballistic helmets and new camo for Indian Army?

Since when did Indian army start using AR series. Doesn't look like an AK series to me from above image.

Is that the Excalibur that the soldier in right is holding in his hand?

Possibly soldiers from nearby infantry units. The conventional helmets are not like the patka helmets usually worn by soldiers in COIN operations.

KILL EVERYONE OF THESE TERRORISTS & THEN CROSS OVER & PERMANENTLY DESTROY COUPLE OF CAMPS. THIS SHOULD BE DONE FOR EVERY REPEATED LOC VIOLATIONS, JUST LIKE ISRAEL DOES. THEY DESTROY THE ENTIRE NEIGHBORHOOD, WHERE TERRORISTS HIDE, SURROUNDING THEM WITH TANKS

@Kunal already told once that if a soldier can purchase better gear than what is supplied by the Army, they do it. Also, those vests don't look like BFJ, more like ammo vests.

The unit at the first pics look more like some special units given the no. of TARs and M4s, may be Ghatak platoon of the battalion stationed there? You can easily distinguish between them and common infantry carrying INSAS and wearing standard helmet in later picture.

There is a cantonment nearby in the town of Pathankoth the soldiers must have come from there.

The last but one photo could be an excalibur
That is an INSAS LMG with black furniture. There is another INSAS (AR or LMG, unclear) a little to the right partially visible between the legs which also has black furniture.
