May be i am wrong as i'm novice in these matters but after watching the video of conversation between martyr Aurangzeb's father and the army officer, i want to say that, we are in this situation
not because we were not hard on the jihadi scums but because we failed the kashmiris fighting for mother India. Their's pride for nation & flag is equal to all patriotic indians.
India only respects people who are clever, makkaar and who do show off. The real heroes are disrespected in our country. Why because people in our country themselves are big time kaamchors and mehnatchors and you can't expect respect from these people for those who really care about this nation. Especially in cities like delhi, mumbai, kolkata, Bengalure, Pune, Amritsar Lucknow etc.

Ladki + Naukri = mentality of an Indian. After that bhaad mein jaye bc country. This is the only thing which troubles me when I see the youth around. And Indian youth abroad is busy boozing.

By this attitude, you can't ever win over the propaganda done by adversaries. In other countries people are crazy about those who are in security.

This is the reason why being a gunda and don or ladkibaaz is a very respectable job in our India. If you are in Ghatak company, or in Para SF or even in SSB or IB no one would like you. Most of the people in India think they are just thullas or crime branch people who are eating beneath the table.

Some people compare India's situation with Israeli which is utter nonsense. India and Israel were in same position 40 years ago, but Israelis took a step and did not allow it's neighbours to have nuclear capabilities.

Now the situation is different. Israel does not have any neighbour like Pakistan and Iran does not get support from US like Pakistan gets. So Situation India faces is way different. Secondly, let me remind every one that Kashmir is not similar to Gaza or Jerusalem issue. Why? Because Kashmir is land issue and Gaza or Jerusalem is a religious issue. Those people are clear about it and call it a holy war.

If you really want to bring Kashmir at par with Gaza then make it a religious issue like Pakistan is trying to make and which India is trying to avoid, but remember the day you call it religious issue, whole Muslim population in India will be with solitary with Pakistan on Kashmir out on streets.

Let us not behave like kids and noobs, most of you are very well knowledgeable and aware. Don't flow with the emotions and do not fall for the trap by third parties who do not want to see Indian economy rising. They know that this government is giving hard time to every one at all platforms and this India is not the same India as before. So its a time to act smartly.
It's a muslim issue deal with it. No hindu, jain, sikh or buddhist asking for any azaadi...time for sissie hindu liberal landus of india to wake up & stop listening to sissie tattus sitting abroad giving sermon on how india should be run.

Why do we need the support of anyone? Why should we hang on to the coat tails of the US? We are strong and big enough to do what is in our national interests.

Remember, it's just 5 districts out of 22 in J&K which are creating problems. The remainder 17 districts care a damn about Pak and so called azadi. However, the media makes it as if the whole of J&K is on fire. The truth needs to be known to all.

Do read my post on Quora: truth Vs the hype about Kashmir in the link below to see the other face of Kashmir.

https://www.quora.com/Why-are-Kashm...nt-to-live-in-India/answer/Mahendra-Singh-111
.
Almost all of 10 districts of Kashmir valley and at least 2 of 10 in jammu are engulfed in separatists violence.

The 5 districts that you are talking about ie Sopian, srinagar, anantnag, pulwama, kupwara are the ones where protests take virtually every day.

The media is correct when it says the whole of J& K is on fire.Kashmir is hit by separatist violence and an armed insurgency, jammu is hit by ceasefire violation and ladakh by chinese incursion.

We have to be like Russia in Chechnya.. Fu...k them all , don't Even spare single one
We cannot be like Russia and China because the later two are permanent members of the UN security council.

World bends in front of those who have power and India has very little power as far as international relations are concerned.

Sorry to puncture your argument but Jammu and Ladakh aren't wracked by separatist violence as you say. It's mainly the 5 districts of the Kashmir Valley. Ceasefire violations on the IB in Jammu is not armed insurgency!! Chinese incursions in Ladakh is not insurgency!!

Thus, I am correct when I say that the media is totally wrong when it portrays the whole of J&K on fire. Please learn the difference between an armed insurgency, ceasefire violations and incursions by the Chinese.

BSF apprehends two Pakistani nationals in J&K's Samba
One of them was identified as Sohail Kamar from Narwal district and, the other, Ahmed from Zafarwal Tehsil of Pakistan's Sialkot.

The Border Security force (BSF) has apprehended two Pakistani nationals from the Samba sector of Jammu and Kashmir, the reports said on Saturday.

The BSF later confirmed the detention of two Pakistani nationals, aged 21 and 31, for allegedly crossing into the Indian side.

They were arrested on Friday evening. They two men are being interrogated by the intelligence agencies.

The arrest of two Pakistani nationals comes at a time when continuous ceasefire violations by the Pakistani side and the cold-blooded murder of 'Rising Kashmir' editor Shujaat Bukhari and army rifleman Aurangzeb by terrorists on Friday.

The brutal killings of Bukhari and Aurangzeb triggered a national outrage with demands for decisive action against Pakistan-backed terrorists.

The Pakistan troops on Saturday violated ceasefire in Arnia and Nowshera sectors in Jammu and Kashmir evoking a strong retaliation from the Border Security Force (BSF).

According to reports, the Pakistan troops violated the ceasefire around 4:00 am in Arnia sector of Jammu district.

Another ceasefire violation was reported in the Nowshera sector in the Rajouri district where one Army jawan was killed after Pakistani snipers opened fire on the Line of Control (LoC) targeting the BSF posts. Defence Ministry sources said that the incident took place in Laam area of Nowshera sector.

The martyred soldier was identified as Bikas Gurung. ''In the exchange of fire, rifleman Bikas Gurung was grievously injured and succumbed to his injuries,'' an Army officer said.

Rifleman Bikas Gurung, aged 21 years, belonged to Village Khunka Khuki, Manipur and is survived by his mother Shrimati Beana May Gurung.

''The unprovoked ceasefire violation by Pakistan, especially on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr, is highly unethical and unprofessional. Our troops have exercised maximum restraint in spite of grave provocation. However, Army has been forced to respond to the unprovoked firing and will give a befitting response at the time and place of own choosing,'' a senior Army officer said.

In view of continuous violations of ceasefire from Pakistan, there was no exchange of sweets between the Indian and Pakistan Army on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr.

There is no sweet exchange at Attari border on the occasion of Eid between the Border Security Force (BSF) troops and the Pakistani Rangers

Saturday's ceasefire violation came on a day when fresh clashes broke out in parts of J&K after security forces were targeted by stone pelters immediately after the morning Eid prayers. According to reports, the clashes were first reported in Janglat Mandi town in the Anantnag district in Jammu and Kashmir.

One youth identified as Sheeraz Ahmad, a resident of Brakpora town in Anantnag, was killed after being reportedly hit by a tear gas shell during clashes.

The incident was reported around 6.45 am immediately after the morning prayers. The protesters also shouted ''Pakistan Zindabad'' (Long Live Pakistan) slogans and as they attacked the security personnel deployed on duty.

The police and security forces had to use tear gas shells and pellet guns to disperse the violent crowd. At least three protesters were injured in the process, according to doctors in an Anantnag hospital. In Pulwama, a crowd protested against the killing of a nine-year-old boy on Friday in an Army firing, the police said.

The youth in Shopian town also resorted to stone pelting.

Clashes also took place in Srinagar city's Eidgah area where large crowds of devotees gathered to offer Congregational Eid prayers.

Eid prayers were also held in Baramulla, Sopore, Badgam, Kupwara and Ganderbal towns and were largely peaceful.

All this comes a day after Prime Minister Narendra Modi chaired a high-level meeting which was attended by Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh, NSA Ajit Doval and other top officials on the security situation in Jammu and Kashmir.

During the meeting, the Centre's suspension of anti-terror operations during the holy month of Ramzan was also reviewed.

On Wednesday, Pakistan condemned the “unprovoked ceasefire violations” along the Line of Control (LoC) by Indian troops and summoned India’s Acting Deputy High Commissioner over the same. The firing killed four and injured at least three in Jammu and Kashmir’s Chamliyal area of Samba district on Tuesday night.

I know the difference between incursion, insurgency and ceasefire violation.

Just a few days ago a big incident of stone pelting on CRPF convoy took place in Banihal in Ramban district of Jammu.During the early days of kashmir insurgency in the 90's ,most of the encounters occurred in places like doda, poonch. However the intensity of separatism is not very strong in Jammu District as it is in kashmir largely because of it being a hindu majority as well as having a large population of non kashmiri Muslims.

But it would be foolhardy to think that only 5 districts of kashmir are affected by separatist violence.

All 10 districts are affected by separatism and separatist violence, the only thing that is different is the level of intensity. In some places it's every other day,in others it's every other week or month.

An Army jawan was today killed as Pakistani troopers targeted a patrol party along LoC in Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir. The latest instance of ceasefire violation comes after four Border Security Force (BSF) personnel, including an assistant commandant-rank officer, were killed in firing by Pakistani Rangers along the International Border in Samba district on June 13. “Pakistan Army initiated unprovoked and indiscriminate firing of mortars on routine Indian Army patrol, 700 metres inside Indian territory in Naushera sector along the Line of Control (LoC) this morning,” a senior Army officer told PTI. In the exchange of fire, Rifleman Bikas Gurung was grievously injured and succumbed to injuries.

The 21-year-old soldier belonged to Khunka Khuki village of Manipur, and is survived by his mother. The unprovoked ceasefire violation by Pakistan, especially on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr, is highly unethical and unprofessional, the Army officer said, adding that the Indian troops exercised maximum restraint in spite of grave provocation. He added that the Army, however, has been forced to respond to the unprovoked firing and would give a befitting response at the time and place of its own choosing.

The Army also cancelled the exchange of sweets between the Pakistani Army and the Indian side on the occasion of Eid. Eleven BSF troops have so far been killed in cross-border firing incidents along the International Border (IB) in Jammu and Kashmir this year, the highest casualty figure for the border force in a year in the past five years, the latest data revealed.

'My Son Died, But Don't Stop Sending Your Own To Indian Army', Says Slain Rifleman Aurangzeb's Father

It was supposed to be a happy occasion for the family, with everyone coming home to celebrate Eid. But as they prepared for the festival, a terrible news reached them, their son Aurangzeb, who was on his way home was abducted.

For the next few hours the family was praying that he will come back safe, but that did not happen. By night the news that they dreaded reached them, cops had found the bullet-ridden body of their son.

Aurangzeb, a rifleman with 4 Jammu and Kashmir Light Infantry, who hailed from Poonch was killed by suspected terrorists, for his 'crime' of joining the Indian Army.

But the loss of his son has not dithered 55-year-old Mohammad Haneef, himself an ex-Indian army man.

Haneef has given the government an ultimatum of 72 hours to avenge the killing of his son.

“Am giving Narendra Modi 72 hours for avenging my son’s killing, otherwise we are ready to take revenge on our own,” he said.

Haneef, however, admitted that when he got his son enrolled in the forces, this is something that he was well aware, could happen one day.

“Death has to come one day. I had got him recruited in the Army to serve the nation. A soldier’s job is to kill the enemy or get killed,’’ Haneef told The Indian Express.

“My son has died but if all people stop sending their children to the Army, then who will fight for the nation?’’ even at the moment of the biggest grief he asked.

Not just Aurangzeb, Haneef's eldest son Mohammad Qasim is in the Army while two of his younger sons, Mohammad Tariq and Mohammad Shabir, are set to join the armed forces. His uncle had died in the line of duty fighting militants in 2004.

Meanwhile, terrorists have released a video, which appears to be shot moments before Aurangzeb was killed.

The 1.5-minute-long video, shot in a forest, shows the Aurangzeb in blue jeans and T-shirt, being interrogated by militants about his duties, postings and encounters in which he had participated.

Haneef believes that his son was targeted because he was a close aide of an army officer who led the team that killed Sameer Tiger and a part of the team that carried out the encounter that killed the hardcore Hizbul militant.

@Mikesingh and other experts here....
Is the part in red true? If it is true how did the jihadis got to know about "the army officer's" team? Isn't it a security breach if these guys r tragetted individually while they r on leave or withtheir families!!! my query isn't accusatory in any way but out of worry. I do not know if things like this has happened before in kashmir with our troops. hence asking.
By the way, has the good Major recovered yet? I can't wait to hear about the revenge wrecking ops he will lead. hope the army will burn those who did this to Rifleman Aurangazeb.

You mutilated Wasim's body? Terrorists seen grilling Indian Army jawan Aurangzeb moments before murder

aurangzeb

A chilling video of 24-year-old Riffleman Aurangzeb, who was abducted and killed by the militants on Thursday, has sent shock waves in the Kashmir Valley.

The rifleman of 44 Rashtriya Riffles (RR) was abducted when terrorists intercepted a private car at Kalampora village in the Jammu and Kashmir’s Pulwama district. The gunmen took Aurangzeb along with them, while the driver was released without any harm. Later, Aurangzeb’s bullet-riddled body was recovered from Pulwama’s Gusso village.

Aurangzeb was en route home in Poonch to celebrate Eid with his family when he was abducted. The incident occurred in the morning when troops stopped a car at Shadimarg and asked the driver to drop the soldier near Shopian for his onward journey via Mughal road.

A day after the killing, the terrorists released the 1.15 minute video in which they are heard questioning the Aurangzeb about the encounters. “Yes I am rifleman and my duty was on the post,” Auragzeb was seen replying to the attacker’s question, who was not visible in the video.

Terrorists were heard asking whether he was the guard of Major Rohit Shukla who was injured during an encounter in which Hizbul Mujahedeen Commander Sameer Ahmad Bhat alias Sameer Tiger was killed on April 30. “Who desecrated the bodies of Wasim and Talha”, asked the terrorists. “No I did not”, replied the Aurangzeb.

Meanwhile, the Indian Army today paid befitting tribute to two of its comrades, who made the supreme sacrifice on 14 June 2018 in the Kashmir Valley.

In a solemn ceremony at Badami Bagh cantonment, Lt Gen AK Bhatt, Chinar Corps Commander and all ranks, paid homage to the martyrs on behalf of a proud nation. Representatives from other security agencies also joined in paying their last respects to the martyrs.

“Riffleman Aurangzeb sustained multiple bullet injuries in a dastardly act wherein he was kidnapped and killed by the terrorists in Gasu village of Pulwama enroute his home on leave to celebrate Eid with his family. Coming from Village Salani in Poonch, Jammu and Kashmir, the soldier was 24 years of age and had joined Army in 2012. He is survived by his wife, parents and three brothers”, said Colonel Rajesh Kalia, defence spokesman at Srinagar.

Riffleman Manvendra Singh sustained bullet injuries during the fierce operation in Panar Forests of Bandipora district in which two terrorists were eliminated.

“He was provided immediate first aid and evacuated to 92 Base Hospital but, unfortunately, he succumbed to his injuries. Late Rfn Manvendra Singh, 30 years of age, had joined Army in 2008 and hailed from Village Kabiltha in Rudraprayag, Uttrakhand. He is survived by his wife, a daughter and a son”, said Colonel Kalia.

The defence spokesman said the mortal remains of the martyrs were flown for the last rites to their native places, where they would be laid to rest with full military honours. In this hour of grief, the Army stands in solidarity with the bereaved families of the martyrs and remains committed to their dignity and well being.
