Included. But just as an approximate price, since it is still under developement.

But the bigger question is whether it is wise to cough-up $2 million each, for upgrading these decades old T-72 that can serve at most another 10-12 years.

If the figures by Kunal is taking true, then total cost for upgrading a total of around 950 T-72s (that the Army is planning) is around Rs. 13,300 crore. ERA package will be extra.

Total cost of recent Arjun MK1A tentative order: Rs 8400 crore for 118 tanks (though it also includes training simulators and other support systems). Thus per tank cost is around 71 crore.

So, at the same price as upgrading 950 T-72s which could serve another decade at maximum, we could easily order another about 187 Arjun MK1A with ERA included, which would serve another 3-4 decades.
ARE WE DEV OUR OWN APS??
OR TROPHY??

Nope the final price will be much higher 6-7million dollars. And that has nothing to do with cost of T-90 MS .

Any decent tanks these days with APS doesn't come up below this.

I cannot recall the source but I had read about the final price to be even higher. I think latest Abraham Tank cost around 8 million too.

it looks like T-14 doesn't even have blow off panels. most of the firing ammo is placed in the hull similar to T-72 and T-90. one side shot and the entire tank will go boom!!!
not even a single crew member can survive.

naked turret model of T-14. there is some ERA on the top that looks like a modified ERA Mk1s placed on T-72 top

russian federation secret tank revealed. new breakthrough in armour technology. can supposedly stop 152mm2A83 fired vacuum APFSDS at point blank.

152mm 2A83 has 1000mm pen at "5km". but the new tank can stop it at point blank. the details of main gun and powerplant used are still unknown.

" objekt/ob'yekt 996 " >>>>> made to replace T-14 Armata ( objekt/ob'yekt 148 ).
RFI might be issued by Indian army. if russia procures at least 100 of these tanks.

" this tank might be the future. it is difficult to perform espionage on this tank like previously done on T-55's and T-64's and T-72's etc " -- former CIA director.- john brennan. in an interview to Fox news.

DRDO can make happen anything , but does the military want it.
Infact india axed her feet when we went for t 72s in 80s era instead of continuing with british or even amx 40 tank.
Actually we had better plans going after Leo based tank design just fcuked it along the way.

Also T-72s were cheap and met our requirements. Our mistake was T-90s should have instead upgraded the T-72s and opt for a 2-3 crew based tank design for Arjun. A 1000+ run would have given us a solid industry base to go after next gen tank.

The recent T-90s ordered shouldn't be considered either. Instead an upgrade is needed and rest of the money to be poured for next battle tank.

The current crop is just irrelevant against cheap drones and ATGM .

But Russian have tied up crew in a secured capsule. So the risk of cook off and killing crew is minimised now. Btw western tanks performance in hands of Saudi, Turks have been equally dismissal.
Thus confirming it's the man that makes the tool deadly.

Going for arjun is best way forward
Only problem was Relying on govt Bureaucracy

What needs to be done is 100 % transfer of Arjun technology to Private firms like L&T ,Tata
Or Mahindra

And going on similar Atags way
Had it been done with Arjun Mk2
The final produced will be quite different

It still find RFI of 1700 should go in same way
It's a multi billion $ deal

Which can attract many vendors

Reliance Defence has supposedly made the hull and turret structures and delivered it to HVF. That makes Reliance defence a Tier-1 supplier and HVF the lead integrator.

There are more chance of more T 90 being ordered than Arjun ever lol. best way forward is to order more T 90M MBT and replace 1000 odd old T 72 with them.

When private players involved in RFI
They will spend on R&D to
Cut-off date is 2030

Atags is example that this model can give best results

There is no need order T-90 rather
Current inventory is needed to get upgraded to
T-90AM standards 😒

You can have both, a 500-800 odd T 90 will cost around 3 to 5 billion $ max. There is enough money for that.

We already ordered around 2000 + T-90s

We already operated 2000 T-72

It's better to upgrade current inventory to
Modern standards

There already next gen upgrade is available for
T-72 and T-90

Era mk2 for T-72 new gun
Equivalent to Russia T-72B4 🇷🇺.until 1700 Future MBT

And T-90S to Russian T-90AM standard

It will save lots of many

Invest money on Mobile rocket artillery
And man portable ATGM'S

And Future APFSDS technology

You need to check out new Eramk2 upgrade
It's Engine is already being upgraded

Currently 2040 T-90S 'Bhishma' ordered which were procured in 7 separate orders

In 2001, India purchased 310 T-90S tanks from Russia, of which 124 were delivered complete (42 featured the early cast turrets seen on Russian tanks) and 186 were to be assembled from kits delivered

Second follow-on contract, worth $800 million, was signed on October 26, 2006, for another 330 T-90S

Third contract third contract, worth $1.23 billion, was signed in December 2007 for 347 upgraded T-90Ms, the bulk of which will be licence-assembled by HVF.

Fourth contract ₹10,000 crore (US$1.4 billion) purchase of 354 new T-90SM tanks for six tank regiments for the China border was approved.
In 2012

Sixth contract
On 17 September 2013, India's Defence Ministry approved the production of 235 T-90S tanks under Russian licence for $1 billion in HVT

7 th contract On 11 November 2019, India announced that Heavy Vehicles Factory will produce 464 T-90S MBTs
