For Sig I believe they felt it wasn’t worth re inventing the wheel for just red dot sights so they chose to rebadge Holosuns. They focused their money on their battle sights and LPVO which had an actual chance of being adopted by the US armed forces and law enforcement

Tango was made in Japan till now. Most under $1000 sights are imports from China and the Philippines.

The G-3s have around 18 inch barrel, while Sig has around 16 inch barrel.
Thus G-3s will outrange Sig by a little margin, however the accuracy of Sigs is much higher than G-3s.
