Only way you can pass through a bunch of checkpoints and enter the Cantt is if you looked like a local to the Army jawans at the posts and even if do get through there are many more security checks which means there could be inside help involved.

Typical Porki terrorist modus operandi is to infiltrate and then hide in the night, do reconnaissance and when the opportune time arises do an all out suicide attack this attack doesn’t fit that pattern it’s more similar to newer terror tactics employed by trashmiri terrorists in J&K were one terrorist with a pistol and couple of rounds goes around targeting Hindu civilians or local police after which he then blends in and disappear into the local crowds. It is a low effort high reward tactic.

Incidents like this in Punjab have been happening in higher frequency like the RPG-22 attack on the police station, PM’s security convoy incident and recent raid and arrest of Khalistani Terrorist Amirtpal Singh and his aides. I am surprised the armed forces hasn’t increased security around all there installations after the previous incident especially when they know there Khalistani terrorist and terrorist sympathisers hiding among the local civilians. Government it looks doesn’t want the locals to panic and is trying to bring down the heat. These kinds of tactics are only going to embolden the Khalistani terrorist to carry out more such attacks in the future. Only way to verify everything is by CCTV cameras. hopefully they were able to pick up everything and with that Army and police will able to track down and capture/kill these Terrorists.

It's a freaking terror attack if it's not fracticide
