Does anyone have a insight on whether there exists a pipeline to ripple down the learning and tactics used by Rastriya Rifles into regular Infantry units. Also if possible some insights on Infantry School is welcomed please.

These two absolute chads of the Indian army are going to retire this Monday.

Wanted one of them to be COAS, but seems like they both were rejected by political echlons (according to this article at least).
Don't ever link articles of this dalal commander in chief Rahul Bedi. Request some mod to delete this filth's article from here.

Ya'll Nibbiars The political decision are sometimes hurt our military leadership. The Rawat decision was the best thing that happened in many years. But the tragedy was to large.

Is the MOD pushing for the R2 rifle which OFB has been lobbying hard since 2017-18?
The prototype rifle with Sandeep Unnithan in his video, the one with the FAB Defense Buttstock, looked good, just because OFB is making it is the worrying part. Even initial INSAS prototypes were supposedly of very good quality, but we know what happened when they went into mass production.

Another concern is the picatinny rails on top of the handguard is mounted on a part same as the original INSAS design which was known to be flimsy and held in place just by a small spring, whether this has been changed is unknown as the stresses of 7.62x51 round would be immense on it. Many prototypes of INSAS MK1C have been seen where externally the fit looks questionable of the top part, which is of the same design.

I had my fingers crossed for General Joshi . He has all the experience required to be a war leader .
Lets check out his accomplishments throughout his career
1) commsioned into 13 Jakrif
2) commanded the same battalion during CI Ops in J and K
3) battalion sent to kargil , under his command the battalion won 2 PVCs , no other unit has the privelege of winning two PVCs in a single war , he himself won a VrC
4) commanded a brigade in Ladakh
5) Commanded 3 div in Leh
6) commanded XIV corps in Leh
7) Took over as Northern Army commander
What an illustrious career
8) Coordinated India's Op Snow Leopard against China for whole Two years .
He is an expert on china and has good knowledge of the mandarin language
He's the perfect candidate for COAS

Video is from 2017, did they make any improvements since then?
