I try to made sense of this article and here's my 2 cents
Army now has a new permanent formation in Ladakh most likely the newly raised 72 div
Previously meant to be raised under 17 corps at pathankot but never 'fully' raised
Now one may ask how can we raise another division without accretion in troops and additional funding
For this I have a theory
The nucleus of this new division is the 84 inf brigade previously under 9 corps as a reserve formation .The second brigade most likely would be the 118(I) brigade
The third brigade most likely is a new raising done by pulling out RR formations
The divisional headquarters most likely would also be from a RR sector
The divisions organic artillery brigade could have been raised using wwr as several regiments of 105/130 mm artillery would be become reserves after induction of newer systems like m777/k9 recently
Also as per this article the new division is under 14 corps instead of the planned 17 corps , which makes sense given the ongoing rebalancing of forces

Does anyone has Flag of 14 (I) Armoured Brigade's (Black Chargers) flag?
I have never come across Brigade to Regimental association in any Orbat of any country? I am assuming this is a closely guarded secret, but has anyone tracked ours, as to what armoured regiments are part of which Brigade?

Look at this 👇

Also, one reshuffle, the 23rd Infantry Division (Cockerel Division) based at Ranchi, has been moved under 17 Corps (Brahmastra Corps) from 1 Corps.

Look at the background black-cockerel in red flags.

I think units are exchanged between formations, they aren't really fixed.

Look at this 👇
I thought that Red Eagle and Cockerel Divs were to move to Ladakh and XVII Strike Corps was to be sent to Eastern Command. So what is 1 Corps left with then?

- 1 Corps is now 33 Armored, 6 Mountain Division and 4 RAPID.
- 23 Infantry Division has now gone to 17 MSC.
- But no physical movement of troops or formations has happened in the above formations.
- This is simply a change in command structure.

Would be nice to have this information in a wiki, there are really no actively maintained resources on it AFAIK, BRF is outdated and global security site is even more so.

Things are going to change once more as some Divs are reconfigured into IBGs. IBGs are meant to be between Div and Bde in size. Wonder when we'll get to see their insignia. We should have a before IBG-ization picture as well as an after. Just like we have for PLA.

Any source for 6 Mountain coming under 1 Corps?

The Mathura-based 1 Corps, one of the three strike Corps meant for Pakistan border, will now re-orient itself to be an offensive formation for eastern Ladakh. This will be in addition to the existing Leh-based 14 Corps that currently looks after security of eastern Ladakh. The Allahabad-based 4 Division and the Bareilly-headquartered 6 Mountain Division will form the core of 1 Corps meant as a strike formation for eastern Ladakh. In effect, the Udhampur-based Northern Command will now have one more Corps for utilisation in Ladakh.

According to this tweet 71st Mountain Division is at Tawang

also according to this tweet
46th Infantry Brigade also knows as Baisakhi Brigade is located at Tawang

Is it safe to assume both 106th and 46th Infantry Brigades are part of the 71st Mountain Division?
