Isn't it ironic that India is acquiring state of the art artillery systems yet no one gives a damn about safety gear for the gunner? I mean do we have any gear specifically tailored to the needs of your average gunner?

Some gunners wear ear muffs, some don't. Generally seen them wearing it at firing ranges, apart from that they are rarely worn.

Again lack of enforcing ear protection on our side.

This will keep happening till we replace civilians with patriotic retired serviceman at the helm of MoD. I mean what a civilian will know about defense and strategic matters? He will be spoonfed by Babus who in turn is spoonfed by these corrupt bribe taker generals. Civilians will always be taken for ride who don't have a thought process of his own in defence matters. Unfortunately Modi has also failed to stop this well oiled machinery of Foreign vendor-midddleman--bureaucrat-Army nexus of corruption.

Patriotic people are there at each and every step. Why you need these patriotic people when our armed forces blackmailing/harrassing openly. Patriotic people are needed when we can't see how things are happening but here everyone is witnessing what United Nations armed forces are doing.

United Nations armed forces are Notoriously adamant to their demands. Forget Babu baby or bureaucracy, they are harrassing even PMO, MOD and CDS. How?? .....

United Nations Armed forces has a habit of blackmailing MoD by linking a indigenous defence deal with Foreign one. If you want them to induct Tejas then sign Rafale deal first. If you want them to induct Arjun then give T-90 first. If you want them to buy LCH then buy Apache first. If you want them to induct LUH then induct Kamov first. If you want them to clear artillery gun trials then clear ATHOS deal first. See everything is linked.

I am sure, United Nations AF will bring junk Mirage-2000 and Jaguar from France before they take Tejas FOC from Bangalore.

Did people really forget arjun saga so fast?

The army literally sabotaged the tank so badly everytime that DRDO was forced to bring a blackbox to protect it.

Just imagine how the engineers would have felt who would even have the will to move forward with the trials? Imagine how the foreign vendors would have felt about us?

For ATAGS our army after failing to damage it for whatever reason decided to bring in a brand new test.

This test was known as user exploitation trails.

This has been introduced for the first time ever not for borfos not for m777 but for ATAGS only. Just look at this shit seriously they are not even hiding it just straight up doing it.

ATAGS was subjected to more firing that actual combat itself. No nation in the world does this and neither did we when brought M777.

These people are literally firing the weapon to its breaking point and saying oh look it broke.

Just sad really.
