What is the difference between ATAGS and ATHOS in:
1. Price
2. Weight
3. Indigenous content

ATAGS will be cheaper in the long run as repair spares availability and maintaince will all be in house.

ATAGS weighs more so army will hold on to that hook and sinker.

I'm not aware of any foreign equipment being used in ATAGS.

Ps: ATAGS has better range accuracy and a C3I command and control system with an electric drive which is being changed now.

It's rate of fire is also Superior with 3 rounds in 15 seconds in burst mode.

Weight to bas bahana hai , if army had any real concern for weight then why don't they buy a ULH by kalyani group ?
Why not buy garuda 105 mm ?

In CAG report it said that ofb had not delivered many items even in 2019 which were to be delivered back in 2014 etc .
Its all indent, army and ofb don't sign a contract .
Army pays ofb and army was only customer of ofb so army asked the ofb to provide the required item and ofb took its own sweet time to do so.
Thats why only 12 dhanush guns have been delivered to the army .

In this report it is mentioned that duplicate parts(ball bearing of some sorts) which were supplied to ofb failed tests at gcf but these parts are present in the 6 dhanush guns supplied to IA. Now my question is if these parts failed acceptance tests than how come they are present is the first six guns supplied to army ?

Also can MOD shift half the order(114) to a private manufacture like bharat forge
