Eurojet offered TVC ToT if we select their EJ 200 engine for LCA MK2, that was possibly the closest LCA got to that feature.

"We are increasing the capacity from producing eight aircraft a year to 16 a year. We are spending Rs 1,380 crore to increase production and can even take it to 20 aircraft per year by running extra shifts. A third line is also being planned at Nashik in case we get larger orders. In fact, we have already ordered the jigs and fixtures for Nashik. Even though we can make 16 aircraft a year, we cannot sell more than seven as the final operational clearances are still stuck. Hoping to hear FOC done soon. Another important activity is Mk1A prototype which has no updates. There are hardly 20 FOC standard orders so want to see something initiated in this direction.

Hopefully HAL will be more serious on Mk1A as their orders are drying up.

Indian Armed Forces have always made us proud. Apart from guarding our borders, they've also come to our rescue when natural disasters have wreaked havoc. And when our men and women in uniform are not doing that, they're busy making records of their own. Squadron Leader Ajmer Singh flew 101 sorties in a single day with various categories of passengers in Powered Hang Glider (a type of aircraft).

It was the 86th anniversary of Indian Air Force Aero Adventure Activities - an event organised to promote the spirit of adventure and motivate people to aspire for a career in Air Force. To mark the event, Squadron Leader Ajmer Singh carried out 101 sorties in a single day, all with different passengers at Air Force Station, Bhisiana on October 28.

I didn't see it as part of FOC. Expecting buddy refueling for FOC will be a bit much even for IAF.

according to vayu magazine reason for the delay in foc is inability of the aircraft to reach mach 1.6 which is the max speed of the aircrAFT
and other things ( not related to the FOC) stated by the author;
usage rate works out to be approx 85 hrs /aircraft /year
whereas for jf 17 it is 126hrs/aircraft/year

apart from this he has also slammed the foor surface finish of the aircraft which he has discovered on the upper mid fuselage /wingroot area
