I am having a feeling that this might be a way to pacify India to not bomb terror targets in Pak. Hopefully, I am really wrong here and India starts pounding Pakis again after the elections.

Pakis + symphathisers will bring up "Pulwama" left out, & would claim Pak "victory"
but still Qureshi's arguement(& thus Pakis) of insufficient/ credible proof would fail.

Still leaving out "pulwama" link is interesting....

As per an American source.. but if true .. this would be a really dumb deal... Compromising India's energy security, for some jihadist pawn like azhar... If India had got Pakistan blacklisted in FATF.. it would have been a little better...

But IMO, we should not discuss Explosions that DIDNT happen which is the line of pakistani propaganda.

No effect on FATF since it's job is to monitor hawala transactions with opaque banking system. FATF has nothing to do with an individual or whole 200 million pakis declared as terrorist.

Azhar and JEM are now officially associates of ISIS, AQ and Taliban despite whatever spin Porkis will try to give to it.

FATF ban is more important..as it would hurt Pak itself...
