what would comprise a strategic target?

Strategic targets are any installation, group of buildings, vital installations such as factories, railways, oil refineries, electric power stations etc that are essential for the production and supply of materials considered vital to a country's war-making capacity and singled out for attack.

However, due to their accuracy, PGMs are also generally used against com centres, ammo dumps, troop concentrations, missile batteries, destruction of gun positions, force HQs etc and in our case, Jihadi training camps too.

Our next aim should be to develop a guided round like ex caliber by which we can hit enemy positions with pin point accuracy. We can inflict such a quantum of damage to enemy which otherwise may take several rounds. The other benefit is that we can hit hit enemy target amongst other target which we don't want to hit.

Pelting enemy with exploves alone has severe limitations. We all know about the unbelievable tonnage of explosive countries like Vietnam, Iraq, Syria and Afghanistan have been subjected to and possible cost of it... It is better that IA start nibbling at territory in such a manner that it does not become an international issue and impose higher costs on Pakistan. Let us start nibbling at Hazipir and opposite Punch. We may reach Mujjarabad by the end of another five years without declaring a war and conducting any major operation.

Every infiltration must be answered by counter infiltration to take a Pakistani post.
