Pelting enemy with exploves alone has severe limitations. We all know about the unbelievable tonnage of explosive countries like Vietnam, Iraq, Syria and Afghanistan have been subjected to and possible cost of it... It is better that IA start nibbling at territory in such a manner that it does not become an international issue and impose higher costs on Pakistan. Let us start nibbling at Hazipir and opposite Punch. We may reach Mujjarabad by the end of another five years without declaring a war and conducting any major operation. Our next aim should be to develop a guided round like ex caliber by which we can hit enemy positions with pin point accuracy. We can inflict such a quantum of damage to enemy which otherwise may take several rounds. The other benefit is that we can hit hit enemy target amongst other target which we don't want to hit.
If that were to be true then every 130mm or heavier shell can be manufactured as precision munition... Even 105 mm and 120 mm ....Pinaka mk2 has similar targeting mechanism which excalibur has.
