Few salient points from yesterday's retaliation we need to pay attention -
  • The overwhelmingly disproportionate response towards Pakistani misadventure is the new norm. If I remember, in UPA times, taking out 155mm to pound terroristan posts was considered a serious escalation.

  • We have their terrorist launchpads zeroed down, it's just a matter of political will to strike them down with full force.

  • Most importantly, which no one is talking about surprisingly, is that our MALE drone hovering high above clouds for real-time surveillance 3km inside PoK.

So what exactly happened to all PAF bravado? Junk fighter with PL-15 and Af-Shola with Amram did not come close to puny defense-less drone?

Using UAV as Air OP is not new. Also unlikely that UAV crossed into PoK airspace - the cameras can capture imagery from far.

Expect more fireworks in coming days, as pak will have to save face and pull off a spectacular.

We were in their airspace yesterday unchallenged.

Here is the proof -

From the video feed, you can see the large house, its north-eastern sides are visible. That means our UAV was somewhere towards the north-eastern side of the house.

Same house in Google Maps.

You cab clearly see here the approximate location of UAV.

Plus, in the video, you can see patches of cloud floating by beneath the UAV. That means the UAV is essentially in upper troposphere, above the mountains.

So, again Pakistanis reading this, where is your mighty airforce?

Possibilities -
  • UAV was low between the mountains [Not Possible]:- It was daytime during the artillery barrage. It would have been shot down by AA fire from Pakistani posts. Or even, some villager would have got it on their mobile.

  • UAV was small-size like Quadcopter [Not Possible]:- Watch for the clouds float by. It is way above any small Quadcopter's flight ceiling. Also from video feed you can notice it is on significant height.

  • UAV was on the Indian side [Not Possible]:- See my above proof. Indian side of LoC is nowhere near.

  • UAV was not detected by Pakistani Radars [Possible]:- Given their professionalism, I don't doubt that.

  • UAV was detected but went unchallenged [Possible]:- IAF dominates the air warfare, and PAF does not challenge that. Remember during the Balakot strike, our Mirage package escorted by Su-30MKI went unchallenged.
Why they won't challenge us? They can ambush us with superior numbers and gain upper hand for 2-3 mins at max, but once our jets are in the air and prepared, they will run back.

Yes. And infact if people can scroll a bit they can also see Al hawi bridge which was damaged by the PARA SF commandos in 2016 SS. And thus mosque has been traditional staging point for LeT cadre and was Burnt by PARA SF commandos in the SS.

Thank you..... coming winters and coming summers is the name of the game for last fifteen years.....

Look the developer needs time, money resorces etc etc is fine but Army is not developer nor a DRDO lab. They are users and they need it now and now.... who will understand that....

Their on ground requirements can not be lumped by shouting foreign mal, dishonest generals, coming summer, coming winters, no seeker, no technology, no industrial base, no money..... they require means to carry out ther tasks... it is plain and very simple.
Fifteen years back there was none of the following;
Tejas mk-2 / foc
Dhanush / ATAGS
Pinakas mk-2
Arjun mk-2 plus tech used in t-90
Kestrel
Nuke sub
Akash
Astra
Domestic aircraft carrier
Stealth destroyer
WLR
Nuke sub
Netra

That's not a bad tally for fifteen summers and winters with minimal r&d support, an army / air force addicted to foreign maal, and practically zero industrial base to begin with.

And yes, part of that is foreign JV or private contractors. That's part of the ecosystem now, and will grow.

Hopefully the next fifteen winters and summers are even more impressive. Desi Spike is just small change.

And yes, I counted nuke subs twice. So what?
We can build a frigging nuke sub now!
Did any of us imagine that possible in 2005? Anyone?

Unusual movement observed in Leepa Valley & nearby places of PoK. Pakistan Army is moving heavy weapons after more than 50 terrorists and Paki soldiers eliminated by IA in Neelum Valley yesterday. IA is ready to hard retaliation of any misadventure by enemy.

I think with scale of our assaults and damage inflicted and most importantly releasing a drone footage and forcing dg Ispr to acknowledge atleast the strikes , its natural that pakis will retaliate.....so its expected that in few days pakis will try to retaliate......and we will get the chance of further punishment.
The drone footage is forcing the paki hand at the game.

Game on!

Why give a chance to enemy and wait to retaliate?? If unusual things are observed and military build up going then should pre empt strike and eliminate the threat. Let pakis escalate in this dire COVID situation we can thrash them left right more dangerous than Corona
