Hand Over Wanted People Living In Pak If You Want Better Ties, Says India

New Delhi:

Pakistan does not deny sending terrorists to India, Foreign Minister S Jaishankar told French daily Le Monde this week, adding that if Islamabad is serious about establishing friendlier relations with New Delhi it must hand over wanted criminals and terrorists like Dawood Ibrahim and Hafiz Saeed. "The relationship is difficult since many years, mainly because Pakistan has developed an important terrorist industry and sends terrorists to India to carry out attacks. Pakistan itself does not deny this situation," Mr Jaishankar said.

Amit Shah asks CRPF to take ‘effective action’ against urban Naxals, facilitators

Union home minister Amit Shah, on his maiden visit to the CRPF headquarters on Friday, asked the force to carry out an effective and decisive campaign against left wing extremism (LWE) in the next six months while stressing that “action needs to be taken against urban Naxals and their facilitators”.

The NDA government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi has repeatedly stressed that social activists who act as ‘Maoist sympathisers’ won’t be spared. In August 2018, the Pune police had arrested five persons from different cities including Varavara Rao, Sudha Bhardwaj, Gautam Navlakha, Vernon Gonsalves and Arun Ferreira in connection with a probe in the Bhima-Koregaon riots in January 2018. They were termed as ‘top urban Naxals’.

I&B team to counter fake news | India News - Times of India

NEW DELHI: The government has taken serious note of rising incidences of fake news on social media and digital platforms and has decided to set up a fact-checking module under the ministry of information and broadcasting, the government's public relations arm, to identify such cases and take corrective action.

The decision was triggered by a spate of "fake" reports online, the latest being one in a section of Bangladeshi media that claimed Prime Minister Narendra Modi congratulated CJI Ranjan Gogoi over the Ayodhya verdict. While the government was quick to clarify that the report was "malicious" and "fake", sources said the matter led the PMO and the I&B ministry to conclude that a formal mechanism to tackle such fake news was needed urgently.

The government's FACT Check module, which is to be initially manned by information service officers, will work on the four principles of find, assess, create and target (FACT), which involves round-the-clock monitoring of online news sources and publicly available social media posts. Since misleading information often finds traction through online influencers who are not bound by standards of ethics applicable to traditional media outlets, the team will also identify themes or stories that promote false and misleading information relating to the government and its agencies.

With the aim of protecting and insulating the government against such attacks, the team, which is expected to begin work shortly, will also assess the scale of engagement with the risk identified and establish whether it is appropriate to respond to the content. "The information will be flagged to relevant ministries or departments that it pertains to, with a recommended approach to response," a government functionary privy to the development told TOI.
Sources said the team of information officers has also been mandated with creating appropriate content to "rebalance" the narrative and promote the government's official position, and to target content to ensure that the government versions are visible and accessible to public. The FACT check mechanism, which will largely focus on online and digital content for now, will also be expanded to the electronic media later.

I completely understand the other side of the arguments but u cannot make people see when they have purposely closed their eyes; these hr committees r basically set up with only mission of condemning India and Hindus.

Watch how India blasts the crap out of Pakistan at UNESCO. Now that was a befitting reply to Pak's penchant of poking their noses in India's internal affairs at the drop of a hat.

Our govt response shud be savage & confident like this...at world forums! This is the way forward. Be unapologetic and do the necessary at national and international level.

Beautiful sketch depicting the indigenous people of Jammu, Kashmir, Ladakh and even Pakistan Occupied Jammu, Kashmir and Gilgit, Baltistan, Chitral, Hunza in traditional attire. This entire region belongs to India. Good way to spread awareness about the forgotten communities. https://t.co/6mfX0HIWAx

Jammu Kashmir Ladakh's new map looks good. A bigger section connecting Afghanistan.
Very beautiful indeed. ...................

On the Sunanda vashisht hearing yesterday, in the interviews she gave today she is confirming that she was invited just 24 hrs before the hearing. There was no preparation prior to that.

Which means somebody lobbied for her presence there..
she did called them "the most lopsided committee ever set up" to that congresswoman's face:hehe:

A MiG-29KUB fighter aircraft crashed in Goa soon after it took off for a training mission, according to Indian Navy sources.

Both the pilots have managed to eject safely. The aircraft involved in the crash was a trainer version of the fighter jet.

Navy Spokesperson Commander Vivek Madhwal said, "The MiG-29KUB trainer aircraft suffered an engine fire. The pilots Captain M Sheokhand and Lt Commander Deepak Yadav ejected safely."

The Indian Navy also added, "Mig 29 trainer aircraft was flying from ashore (Goa). During recovery, there was a bird hit&fire on right engine was observed. Both pilots ejected and are safe. Aircraft crashed in open/ safe area. No casualties reported. Further details being ascertained."

Defence minister Rajnath Singh spoke to the pilots. He tweeted, "Capt Mrigank and Deepak Yadav of the MiG-29KUB which crashed after the take-off from Goa today. It is a matter of great satisfaction that they managed to eject in time and both of them are safe. I pray for their good health and well-being

WHY DOES THIS KIND OF SHIT HAPPENS ONLY IN OUR AIRFORCE OR AIRCRAFTS. IN OUR ARMED FORCES OUR AIRFORCE IS OUR WEAKEST LINK. WE ARE LOSING MORE AND MORE AIRCRAFT AND YOUNG PILOTS DURING NON-COMBAT AIR PATROLS THAN IN A WAR. THIS IS CRAZY. EITHER ITS BECAUSE OF THE PILOT TRAINING OR ITS AIRCRAFT ‘S FAULT. OUR LAZY ASS DOD DOESN’T DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT TO STOP THIS NONSENSE. IF THIS CONTINUES WE MIGHT LOOKS LIKE A JOKE IN FRONT THE ENTIRE WORLD WITH AIRCRAFTS CRASHING EVERY OTHER DAY OR MONTH. DOD NEEDS TO BUY NEW AIRCAFT TO REPLACE THESE OLD ASS NAVAL AND LAND MIGS OR UPDATE OUR PILOT TRAINING.

This aircraft belonged to Indian Navy............
I Said Our Aircrafts. Which Means Regardless of Were the Aircraft Served in or what Armed Force. Why does it always happen in India. Our Planes are Dropping from the Sky like Flies. India has higher Crash rate than Even Russia, China, US, Australia and Brazil. Who have even bigger And Larger Border Areas to Patrol than even we do and Some Also have Bigger Aircraft Fleets than us. Regardless who Aircraft Belonged too this is a Chronic Problem which is Part of All our Air Wings in Both Army and Navy and also Air Force. We need to do something to fix this and get our AF and AW back into better Shape.

India have 4th biggest airforce fleet in the world.
Most of the crashes happen because of obsolete mig-21 and technical issues in Russian engines. And bird hits. And sometimes because of HAL.
Crashes also happens alot in China but there media is not allowed to report them.

So how many were Mig21 out of the 14 that crashed this year???
Only 2 Mig21s one Abhi , other a trainer. So lets not blame it on Mig21s.
Russian engines are used by many AFs ,nothing unique in that. Lets not point fingers at Russians
An upgraded Mirage 2000 crashed just after it left HAL. Su30 in Tezpur etc etc etc

Most these Russian Engines are at end of there Life. But idiots in India Still use them like its fucking Brand New. Sometimes its Not Even the Russian Aircrafts that Crash it’s the old western ones as well like the SPECAT Jaguar and Mirage 2000Hs so we can’t blame the Russians for our incompetence. HAL is also big Problem in this just like OFB is for the Army, HAL doesn’t do its fucking job right. Some of these Old Aircraft that crashed lately have been all “Upgraded” By HAL. They Crashed right into the Ground some killing there pilots without mercy. We are losing Millions of Rupees because of these Crashes and Losing our Precious Pilots who are worth more than these fucking Junk Planes. How the Fuck does birds hit fucking Fighter Jets in India. Birds Exists All Across the World but they Never Hit Any other Military Aircraft in other Countries but Only in India they do it. Are our Birds Some kind of special Species that likes to crash into engine of fighter jets? The Problem clearly is that we are not buy good Aircraft to replace our very old Ass inventory. Currently Regional but later SuperPower States like India needs to have most Powerful AF in the region but we don’t even smaller and weaker States are Upgrading there inventory with newest aircraft available in the market but we are still stuck with these worthless piece of junks some which are at the end of there life cycle but we still keep using them.

According to fanboys only IAF suffers from Bird strikes , poor Russian engines , poor after sales services. Typical Indian trait - blame others

Mirage 2000 crashed due to some software issue. And frame life issues we keep updating obsolete equipment to make sure it runs nicely.

Possible reason No.1: Intense training

The IAF is one of the few air forces in the world that conduct intense, year-round training. Benjamin Lambeth of the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace says the IAF trains for a "high intensity, high stakes" conflict. Keeping in mind the possibility of a two-front war, the IAF puts its pilots and aircraft through the wringer.

Mock air combat can involve hundreds of aircraft flying thousands of kilometres. During such a war game in 2013, Sukhois flew 1800-km bombing missions from Chabua in Assam to the western front, with mid-air refuelling. In fact, IAF pilots are known to lead missions over 10 hours in their Sukhois.

Such training places a great deal of stress on aircraft, pilots and air crews, which means potentially more accidents. But that’s the way the IAF trains for war. In fact, a former air force chief has gone on record that he would rather lose pilots during training than during war.

The strategy has been amply rewarded. In the 1971 War, for instance, the IAF was able to conduct a wide range of missions – troop support; air combat; deep penetration strikes; para-dropping behind enemy lines; feints to draw enemy fighters away from the actual target; bombing; and reconnaissance.

In contrast, the Pakistan Air Force, which was solely focused on air combat, was blown out of the subcontinent’s skies within the first week of the war. Those PAF aircraft that survived took refuge at Iranian air bases or in concrete bunkers, refusing to offer a fight.

Similarly, the PLAAF has nearly 2,000 planes, but only a fraction of the peace-time accident rate. According to Foreign Policy, this suggests Chinese pilots are not spending sufficient time in the air or training under pressure. “(Chinese) pilots are neither trusted nor properly trained. Drills are regimented, centrally controlled, and divorced from realistic combat conditions.” PLAAF fighter pilot would most likely be reprimanded if he deviated from the flight plan set by his commanders. Losing a plane would be cause enough for a court martial.

Thankfully, the IAF does not believe in having robots but values superior training and innovativeness. IAF pilots have truly internalised what Sergei Dolgushin, a Russian Air Force ace with 24 victories in WWII, said is a prerequisite to be a successful fighter pilot: “A love of hunting, a great desire to be the top dog”.

Possible reason No.2: Harsh environment

Harsh is normal in India. Tropical India is an unforgiving environment for any aircraft. The hot air means aircraft engines produce less thrust and the wing produce less lift compared to similar aircraft flying in European skies. Sun baked runways are also known to impact landing safety. These are factors IAF pilots have to live with.

Bird hits are another huge factor in aircraft accidents over India. The IAF attributes around 10 per cent of accidents to bird hits. Most IAF bases are located near populated areas, where birds are a constant menace.

The situation has got so dire that the IAF last year issued global bids to four companies for 45 bird detection and monitoring radar systems to be installed at airports and air bases across India

Russian engines are not great in hot climate their failure rate is quite high. Western engines are. Much better in this regard one of the biggest reason Why tejas never got crashed.
