40N6 (380km range ) has terminal speed of Mach 3.4( aroun 1190m/s ).
at mach 3.4...G force during turn for it turn out to be around 12 ( 3.4x3.4 ). So missile need to pull 12 times more G than target it intend to hit ( fighter aircraft )
if max G for missile is around 25 than aircraft need to maintain around 2G to outmanoeuvre it during lock face. With 180kg high power fragment warhead & missile massive range, There are high probability of it hitting even maneuvering aircraft at those range ,so myth that this bulky missile can't hit maneuvering target is just that a myth.
