No, he does have a point, perception matters...............a lot!! Just try and remember what happened during the following day of the Balakot strikes and the subsequent turn of events. We got soundly shafted by the Paki propaganda wing and lost the perception war.
And you can not draw a parallel between these incidents and past wars because in the case of the 65 or 71 or even 99, the outcome is well documented and the whole world already knows what really happened.
