Chinese smartphones have no competitor in 15K Range as they provide the best possible package in that price range.

Well they always sell their phones with wafer thin margin or sometimes in loss. Thus you get great value for their phones. On other hand all Chinese phones are started to push ads to achieve some sort of revenue.

On the other hand Microscammer and other Indian pajeets does not do any research on their products just give pure android and call it a day. No work on software experience, no work on image processing and not even ready to launch products in regular interval, marketing etc.

These guys are not ready to invest in Laptops also. How much it takes for them to build an Ryzen 3 or i3 based system which can be well placed in 25000 to 40000 price bracket. But no try from our scammers.

On the other hand Xiaomi, Huawei, Oppo just ripped off Mac design and priced them at 40000 to 60000. You will get a professional laptop with great spec and design.

Beating Chinese in smartphones need good product and proper customer service.

They will listen then only. War in Ukraine has forced a lot of sense into Chinese mind. They have a put a hold on Taiwan invasion and would not think of a larger invasion of India, since India is not push over. India should occupy peaks overlooking their supply line as stealthily as they moved forward in 2020. Not sure how effective these will be but China in possession of HIMARS esque capability is sure as hell bad news for us.
Their MLRS capability is already way way superior than us.
We need our SRBMs & heavy payload Nirbhay missiles ready for action along LAC. Pinakas alone won't cut it.

The GoI indeed wants to shield the smartphone market from chinese exposure (owing to security reasons and trade imbalance); to howsoever large extent possible. That is precisely why the bbk electronics companies are being hounded (do keep in mind that unlike xiaomi who reiles on OEMs; bbk produces pretty much everything in house and thus perhaps from securiry pov a bigger threat) and also one reason why more and more PLI schemes are being worked on in. Import of finished phones have already declined to a very large extent and in due course of time even a large portion of supply chain of components (at least the portion catering to the domestic market) can be shifted.

Also, as someone has already pointed out since cheeni phones are very very cheap they did play a role in india's digital revolution and the GoI won't go after them until more and more domestic options are avaliable. Also, all these upcoming Google backed Jio 4G and 5G smartphones might be a real deal since they are targeted towards budget phone audience only.
