It could he true years ago now nope they just Don't have appetite for war now they like peace, anime and pop culture
One should never really pay much head to such mass media conceptions.

Russia was by all sense a failed rentier state a few months back and Ukraine was supposed to be a nation with no appetite for war and yet both of these major conceptions proved wrong.

It is only later that when people moved on from the mass media nonsense and did a careful analysis of their surroundings did they understand how resilient the Russian economy and the Ukrainian defences were.

One should base their opinions on facts not fiction or they would end up like the Chinese soldiers who expected the cold infrastructure less Indian soldiers at the border would just surrender for food at first sight.

Practically speaking japan has the most formidable ASW and ABM capability in the entire Asian region and are miles ahead of china and India. We operate around 12 p-8i and feel a remarkable difference so imagine how aware a nation can be that owns and operates more than 100 such aircrafts on a routine basis.

Similarly their airforce and navy are top notch with some of the most modern destroyer's and fighter jets in their kitty. The only thing they lack is quantity against the Chinese barring which they are miles ahead of almost all asain countries.

Manpower is not a issue as we can see in Ukraine as once push comes to shove bodies will also come through and japan holds a massive advantage here anyways as they don't share a land border with anyone.

This modernization gives them what they need the most and that is quantity and ability to sustain a conflict.

are these the one announced in 2020 , have they been build ?

he fucked up his tweet , his new map is showing those places as ours .

@Thundering13th any idea if we started showing fish tail area as ours ?
Confusion previals bro. But seeing the pattern of bops that are coming up I think we want to dominate the area...... And yes those bops that were sanctioned in 2020 are coming up now.... Check out our forest and climate change websites..... They have coordinates of the upcoming bops..... Major chunk coming up in diband valley.... Which is an awesome news....

@Thundering13th your take on this?

Did we just claim some Chinese territory or did we just remove some of our own territory?
We did not claim "some" Chinese territory. If the second map is correct, we just claimed 1000s of sq km of Chinese territory as Indian. Those curves and edges may look insignificant on the map, but they translate into a lot of land on the ground. Don't take my words at face value. Cross check using Google Earth.

Japan is beyond fucked wrt economy though. They won't have the bandwidth for a war. If Japan gets bodies coming home like in WW2, they'll become ghost towns.

Japan should be a tech producer in a war or risk getting a pyrrhic victory that threatens the fall of it.

Ukraine has a population of 35 million and are still able to throw a huge load of people into the battlefield.

Japan with its 100 million people will have more bodies to throw at but the question is where will they even throw it.

Being a Martine nation gives them the exclusive ability to completely escape from the meat grinder of the Battlefront. They only have to maintain the air and sea domains and they will be fine.

Ukraine's population is geared towards younger people versus Japan with much older populace.

Japan did undertake ground operations in WW2. In any scenario involving China and large scale war, they'll have to get involved in Korea and China sides again.

They undertook ground operations in WW2 because they were the aggressors who were actively invading china Burma Indonesia philipines Singapore Malaysia in a span of 1-2 years.

Now they will just have to piggy back on uncle Sam's shoulders and contribute a bit.

I don't think Korea would even get involved until and unless north korea attacks them which would be a disaster due to the disparity in resources and military and how china would be forced to commit ground troops in that area.
