Never the less, I did check Sentinel ,there is activity on the other side of the mountain ridge - might just be Chinese being Chinese and building roads everywhere.
For example this road at 27.9832445/92.637988 did not exist 6 months ago. They are probably building roads right up to the Glacier region, but doubt they can come to our side, the lowest saddle at ~5300m altitude in this region (from a quick check of G Earth). Maybe they are afraid of Yetis invading from the glaciers?
