I couldn't tie all those 20 tweets together and get the full picture. In summary what they can do and what are our options against their weapons or tactics?interesting thread on what an Chinese attack will look like
PLA uses UAV to detect threats - targets are then relayed to long range artillery and rocket launchers .I couldn't tie all those 20 tweets together and get the full picture. In summary what they can do and what are our options against their weapons or tactics?
Someone explain to me, how many S-400 systems are we getting ? News & wiki says 5 regiments. How many independent systems does that make?
Also, are we getting 40N6E missiles that have 400km range?
Do we have any counter measures against their UAVs? And their tactics somewhat look predictable if they do that don't you think?PLA uses UAV to detect threats - targets are then relayed to long range artillery and rocket launchers .
truck mounted artillery range is about 40km , the rocket range is supposed to be 350km
targets are air fields , ammo depots , concealed forward positions.
after firing , they move to new position and fire again.
for fast moving targets they will employ UAVs - ASN-207 UAV , tweet says they have over 1000 of them.

pretty much inline with an old article , PLA will try to strike with long range weapons and UAVs .
but yea i guess we taken all that into account. IMHO its hard to hit positions on reverse slope of mountains long range , instead of handfull of bases , our bases are scattered . unlike the chinese who have huge military complex . then also we have the IAF .
But What can bhutan realistically do other than keeping quiet...there is a certain section in Bhutanese polity that sees India in as suspicious eyes as china when it comes to sovereignty of their Happy land..Is Bhutan new bitch of China?
Whose fault is this anyway? Isn't Bhutan's foreign policy is look after by India? But What can bhutan realistically do other than keeping quiet...there is a certain section in Bhutanese polity that sees India in as suspicious eyes as china when it comes to sovereignty of their Happy land..

dont know much about these things. these exercises only give idea of what they may do.Do we have any counter measures against their UAVs? And their tactics somewhat look predictable if they do that don't you think?

Got off lightly I thought. Typically his family would be paying CCP for the bullet that entered his skull.chinese tourist went to martyr cemetary in aksai chin , put his foot on one of the galwan martyrs tomb stone and pointed his finger at it.
guess what he got

Bhutan's foreign policy is not dictated by India. India is only responsible for the national security (defence) of Bhutan, but that too, only if Bhutan requests it.Whose fault is this anyway? Isn't Bhutan's foreign policy is look after by India?
Bhutan/Nepal and other jokers in SE Asia are finished if they think they can resolve issues with CCP through talks. They can live as b.ches of CCP, but never as sovereign equals.Bhutan's foreign policy is not dictated by India. India is only responsible for the national security (defence) of Bhutan, but that too, only if Bhutan requests it.
So if Bhutan comes to us, says, hey look, China is encroaching on our land, Indian Army has authority to take control and challenge Chinese occupation like in Ladakh.
However, as you might already know, Bhutan thinks of itself as the Asian Switzerland and chooses to remain neutral. They think they can "resolve" these boundary issues with China by "talks".
In my opinion, however, Bhutan will be Poland of Asia instead.
