Mr. Bolton in the interview with Nitin gokhale said Trump is on the case of china only because of election and if he is reelected and if china offers a trade deal he may leave India high and dry.
LOL you realize Bolton and Trump had lot of disagreements and he was fired by Trump? Ever since then Bolton has been very bitter on Trump in the media. Don't take Bolton's word for it. See the recent news, Trump is not even interested in phase-2 of trade deal.

I just realised that the current chini theatre of war provides scope of operations for all three special forces, if things escalate of course.
Yeah Defence Minister coming all the way out to Ladakh to see a Paratrooper exercise was definitely the Armed forces way of telling GOI that this is an effective way of keeping things relatively low in the escalation ladder, should we go for a conflict.

Our's troop's in Tibet's. Date uknown's.
"PoWs in Tibet: Lt Col Ratan Singh, Lt Col Balwant Singh Aluwallia, Brig John Dalvi,
Lt Col Maha Singh Rikh, Lt Col KK Tewari in front of the Potala (April 1963) "

Interesting first-hand account from one of the soldiers in that photo ,Col Krishna Tewari, regarding that earlier border war,, in the link below. The level of preparation by the Chinese was certainly eye-opening to me.

Dukan par abhi kaun bhi nahi hai sirf Subhai hi aate hai, most customer come in que only in morning for purchases, so I am free at the shop from 11 to 9. Nothing to do due to this chinese viruse's.
Udi Baba... kaa bechat ho subeh subeh?

Gaai ka duddu? 🐮

Chinese have limited avenues of ingress East to West. So they will come from depth areas into those four five road axis and deploy. The have no North South axis as such. Chinese advantage would lie in their 122mm Motorized / mounted guns...

Look at Indian side. Road DSDBO runs parallel to the LAC. Indians can deploy their guns at hundred of places along the road and bring concentrated fire on the Chinese at multiple locations. Since the road is near the LAC, ranges will also not be a problem. Indian artillery will be in a position to remain fairly dispersed using Gun Areas in Shook Valley and still concentrate the fire.

Same Like Kargil....
Since they have a itch to push forward we have the advantage.

So IA can let them come in few kms with little "resistance" and then all of a sudden ending their "victory party" by cutting off leaving the Chini big convoys trapped... then IA can unleash Fire and Fury and do Shikaar of Chini midgets from the top of the hills or elsewhere with few shoulder fired RPG/MMG/Sniper etc or just push down some stones downhill. I hope Harinder Singh Ji is reading this post!

We can name the valley as Shikara-e-Chini :lol:to further humiliate them if 40-100 soldiers died were not enough. Also since they would be in our land we can play the victim card internationally of being attacked on our soil. Same like Kargil.
